Electric Vehicles in Thailand
you may are correct; there are many factors involved in the charging losses of an electric car. with so many variables at play, the truth may indeed lies somewhere in the middle .... https://www.icompario.com/en-gb/ev/charging-points/losses/

slow charging can result in more charging losses, which can be up to 20%! however, if you charge your car with surplus energy from solar panels, then the charging speed (charging losses) may not matter in terms of cost efficiency ...

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
i used to watch a lot of "the electric viking" videos, but not anymore. too many of his videos are a kind of speculation about what new breakthroughs will be (or not) on the market in a few years. imho, many of his videos are just a waste of time! of course, youtube is his main income, so he produces as many videos as he can, but I really do prefer quality and not quantity!

As smog season returns, can Thailand avert another health crisis?
it's important to note that pollution isn't always visible, and just because it can't be seen or felt doesn't mean it doesn't exist. sakon nakhon is not better than other areas in east thailand ...

Thailand needs to calm down it's rush to EV !
it's important to consider the local environment and potential challenges like flooding when choosing an electric vehicle. fortunately, where i live, flooding isn't a concern; otherwise, i wouldn't consider buying an ev car! electric cars aren't suitable for everyone, as has been mentioned many times in this forum. people who prefer internal combustion engines should just stick with them — it's as simple as that!

Ex-Thai PM Thaksin Undergoes Medical Scans, Health Condition Confirmed Stable
will he be remembered by the young people for doing a few good things, or will he be remembered as a corrupt criminal who had money and connections to get away with anything, and as someone who knew how to manipulate the people and the system? (of course he is not the only one, there are many more little thaksin's, eg kh prayut etc) it is a shame ...

fair enough! i know thais who do not like the unequal treatment (for rich people) and thais who hate thaksin and his corrupt clan ... i would go as far as to say: thank thaksin and his corrupt clan, thailand wasted 9 years. thanks to thaksin, thailand will remain a corrupt country for many years to come. thanks to thaksin, every thai knows that if you have money and influence, you will be treated differently. thanks to thaksin, the poor remain poor, the rich become even wealthier (also through corruption). during thaksin's time as pm, he and his government had all the power to bring about real change for the benefit of the thai people. unfortunately, he became so greedy (and a narcist) and believed he was above the law, thinking he could do whatever he pleased.

how many russians are happy with putin? how many germans were happy with hitler? and so on ... what are you trying to say? if people fall for a politician, does that mean they don't need to follow the law? or if a politician does something good for the own people, does that mean they don't need to follow the law? are you? by the way, politicians are voted in and well-paid to make decisions that benefit the people ... and not themself!

Thailand needs to calm down it's rush to EV !
every new development or innovation also brings negative side effects. mass production of electric cars has barely been around for 10 years, and in another 10 years, electromobility will have further evolved because the potential is just started to kick in ... perhaps in 20 years, there will be better alternatives to electric cars, who knows. but internal combustion engines (ICE) have no potential anymore and can hardly be the future solution. we all should know, pollution and noise make people sick (or dying) ... if you live in a bigger city (eg. chiang mai etc) you know what i mean ..
