I never ride off road thinking I won't come off.  Fortunately, most have been simple drops.  Picking my bike up ripped my shoulder out but it appears I have been riding with a dialocated shoulder for some time according to the doctor and not known.  I am trying to slot it back in myself as I want to avoid hospitals at the moment.

No need for hospital plenty of docs surgeries about that bang joint back in. ????

Not like it matters but I chose the 10W-40 oil. Pretty cool reading up about this stuff, I had no idea that the "W" meant winter and not weight. I assume since my car has very high mileage a thicker motor oil would be more suitable for the lubrication of the engine and motor components. Hopefully I'm right?

10w40 is a very common grade oil for most all vehicles in Thailand many people worry for no reason over oil.

I received my ExpatVac appointment at Samitivej in BKK by email last week and had my first dose of Pfizer last Thursday. This morning I received a phone call from Bumrungrad offering me Pfizer. I asked why they were calling, they said they got my number from ExpatVac. I am not sure why Bumrungrad didn't know I had already received the vaccine, since both communications were a result of ExpatVac (the only site I've been eligible to sign up at). In any case, as others have said, answer every call.

Well I'm expecting 2 calls but my call came from the local hospital I registered with maybe I'll get a another call same you, I registered with Expatvax as well.

Thanks. , I will start my search .  It does seem that 2nd hand trucks are expensive in Thailand

Due to the pandemic it makes the S/H pickup truck market the cheapest I've ever seen it.

Don't be too scared of high mileage if it has service history, no service history is not a good sign.

Diesel engines are pretty bulletproof and terrorists are good proof of reliability. ????????

Not that much at the moment.  After my crash in Dec 2019 and the time to recover I haven't ridden the same.  Turned rides down until the CRF450rl where I broke my ankle.  Then first day back riding dislocated my shoulder.   Did some slow balancing on my AT last week and it was a killer.  Not bike fit at all.

Well as you say " Being mainly an off road rider - or at least that's where I enjoy the most " it goes with the territory.

I guess I've been lucky had many near misses but the only time I've ever come off in nearly 70 years was riding motocross and riding a scooter.

last year 4096.80, printed in the book. Year before 4779, in 2562 it was 5462, in 61 6145, and all the years before that 6828. I know it goes down as the car gets older, but it was just this extra 1440 I cannot understand.

    Obviously a mistake.

Me think it's a tasteless post, you could have done better saying what you needed to say without the extra mile...

Don't care what you think or whether you don't have a sense of humour or like having a bit of fun.

As Thais would say don't look at it.

Hammered my Versys when I had it.  Off road as well.  Never had an issue other than a leaking fork seal after 32,000km.

Great stuff when do you get to ride any other new bike out.

I always use to read supersports reviews thats my thing.

    Be nice to manufactures. ????????????

The OPS point is that they want to be able to offer a 'safe driving record to a potential insurer in the UK in the hope of getting a reduced premium. The usual way to achieve this is to provide a letter of 'no claims' from a past insurer.

I suggest you tell the OP that because if he had been driving here he can get a letter from the insurance company for couple of hundred baht.

I have to say though as usual not a lot of information about what OP intends to do.

A much better attempt! Your detention is canceled! And as something of a pensions guru I can confirm you are correct. I would add that you can buy missing years of NI contributions and after 10 years minimum ,however many qualifying years you have will give you the pro rata equivalent pension (10/35ths etc). Whilst registered unemployed your NI contributions are paid for you so you don’t lose out.
Now you can ask me about SIPPs ! ????

I didn't understand how I got what I did in the first place when it came getting my pensions just accepted what they gave.

I wish they had kept the help a bit for Thais wives but done away with and they couldn't wait to sent a proof of Life form..

UK really wants old people out of the way although they did drop a clanger and send me a winter allowance which they never took back. ????

Why one has to be careful when interpreting DWP rules, my pension was one for a state run industry, the SERPS payments (the difference between contracting in and out), were not collected by DWP, e.g. a lower NI contribution was made by me. Therefore the pension is reduced due to this non-collection.

My assertion of deductions is made based on a quote from DWP on what I will get on retirement, I'm not quite there yet.

Other Private Pension Plans could have different agreements with DWP on the handling of SERPS contributions.

Well I only know that I got full UK pension amount and then two other payments were added to it someone told me one was for something Maggie did and the other was the contract in & out thingy, I didn't expect the amount I got but very happy, also because of the world money crash in 2008 I thought my private pensions were going to cop it but by 2012 they recovered quite well and was very happy and surprised with them too.

Same here! Started right up after a light wiping of dust. Amazing what a few months old battery can do! Weeks can drift by without a start.

Went for an 11km blast on local newly paved curvy roads just to keep the 4 carbs  fresh. CB600FY running like a top! Two pairs of led lights up front make it 15km/hr faster! ????

ps-I may have posted this pic, but not lately. Bike porn, she’s 21 now!

Trump has now attempted to absolve himself from the situation and pinned responsibility solely on President Joe Biden for the Taliban's takeover and the Afghan government's collapse.

That maybe but to put what Biden has done into perspective, e.g. the Titanic is sinking so the captain and his crew get into the lifeboats first.

The Afghans don't want to fight for their freedom. The Army of 300,000 strong what just laid down their guns and walked away. The president of Afghanistan just walked away, those people aren't capable of being free.

Well then we have biden just laughing when being asked about the withdrawal, he said it couldn't be done any better.

Not all Afghans are the same, many tribes will fight the Taliban in the future I reckon Afghanistan will be divided into sections in the future.
