  1. Hello guys,

I came across this link of TrackR, seems to be a very tiny in size and cost device,

    here is the link:

    https://buy.thetrackr.co/gu/special-offers/15/checkout

I would like to ask if anyone of you used it before? and how effective is this device?

useful to be installed in car and motorbike too?

also can be sticked in the bag of a kid in case shopping or walking in a big market area,

to avoid losing your child, just my idea, not sure about installation or power supply issues for this device etc,,

if this is a good one, where to find it in Bkk?

thank you very much in advance for sharing your comments accordingly, or if any other device for similar purpose?

    Kind regards

  2. For TOYOTA Altis 1.8, I checked to shop next to me, and told me the best one is 3k dry battery, will work better and last longer,

He said the price will be 1800 THB with exchange the old battery, with one year warranty,

My question: the dry battery or the water refilled is better? (in term of powerful performance, durability)

Any good quality or brand to recommend?

    Thanks

  3. Good morning guys,,,

    Thanks KhunBENQ, as well strange,

called the dealer where I bought the car from, TOYOTA Altis, 1.8,

he advise the water refill one, is better for a longer age use,  I am not sure yet, but  (MF) one seems to be less headache, and would be better,

As mentioned, my best option is a high quality for durable uses, these are the needed to consider,

However, appreciate your feedback n comments, many thanks again!

  5. Hello guys,

Used to have STV installed for over than 3 years, cable TV internet connection with about 100 TV channels,

Everything is OK, but their frequent internet disconnection  is the worst, and someday they go for few hours, finally ended their service,

Applied for AIS PLAYBOX, their internet DSL is stable, but their AIS Play Box is just sucks!

can't select the channels and save them to TV remote control,  have to use their remote of the playbox,

No saved channels to any list, just clock TV then browse,, and keep scrolling aside, or return back to the main list and go for the next icon,

Also that small icons are titled in Thai, all in all it looks like just wasting time,  so complicated for kids to watch their favorite cartoons,

However,  is there any other TV with internet provider? with easy sittings as STV,

    any advice will be appreciated,

Did some quick Googling. It appears a fon-like system. You purchase a phone and base station and you can use other stations for free. All works over 5Gz wifi. I don't really see how this will ever work until there is a user at at least every street corner.

And it's introduced in a multi level marketing system. Highly dubious setup.

I search,, and found this link:

    http://www.worldmediatech.com/space-phone/

I totally agree with you about something skeptical,, .. why the website is not as the same name of this brand?

However, let's hope to hear more comments or any replies to share idea about this.

    Thanks

  7. Thanks for all the replies guys,

first of all to repeat, I am asking about this for my friend,

myself, I never and will never think to buy a such design, I got 2 wheels bike, and 4 wheels vehicle, fit for my usage,

Now, I just searched for Kunka as mentioned in above, their website under warning by antivirus telling me could :

Warning - visiting this website may harm your computer!

    -----------------------------

As the guy he is going to send it to his home country, not to use it in Thailand,

if any recommended place to have a look , will be appreciated,

    thanks

I only see the option to receive one email per week, none to turn off email otifications altogether, which is what I want to do.

Hi cooked,  I checked the content as well, and seen this option for each topic,

what I really need is, to receive the daily new reports as before, but not really need to received these instantly posted topics one by one,, it's annoying really,, already received somewhat couple of dozens of other emails relevant to work and other important topics,,

I hope the moderators / developers will find an effective solution for us about this.

thanks, wishing a happy nice day to all.. !

  9. To apply for permanent residency and Thai nationality you need to be working with a work permit and paying taxes for at least 3 years. For PR the salary requirement is 50k baht and citizenship is 40k baht if married to a Thai.

This is the required documents for a PR application if married to a Thai. http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/doc/residence/residence_th_sponser_en.pdf

And these Guidelines and documents required for application for Thai citizenship by naturalization

what if the applicant staying on Non-F visa ? which no work permit required,

how to bring it to reality if the requirement saying must have a PR from immigration, and show records for the last 5 years,, bla bla bla,, then to apply for citizenship? it's seems to be double complicated matter this citizenship matter? or I misunderstand?

You have to be on extensions of stay not visas to apply. If the extension you applied for did not require a work permit that would be waived but you would still need to meet the income requirements and be paying taxes.

If married to a Thai you do not need to have PR to apply for citizenship only 3.2 of the guidelines applies in that case.

the applicant married to a Thai lady, father of 2 kids, working in under non-F

again, comes to tax paying,, it will need him to start paying taxes and roll over the next 3 years to be eligible to apply?

ubonjoe, do you know the department in charge of this matter, where can go to ask everything directly?

Thank you so much.. appreciate you kind efforts as usual and always there to help, thank you so much indeed !

  11. You have to apply for permanent residency to get the certificate.

There is info here on the immigration website that lists the required documents: http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/en/base.php?page=residence

You will need to be working and be on extensions of stay for 3 years to apply for it.

Since you are married to a Thai applying for Thai nationality might be better and is less costly.

    Hi ubonjoe,

the requirements for this certificate look like complicated, and some of them I don't really understand it, supporting alien who already had residency permit etc... w

    So what about the nationality?

few years ago, a friend told me they ask for work permit continued work history of 3 years,, and salary no less than 80,000 THB, and payed 7 % of tax ,, this is already a well done suck blood .. !!! what else they need more than this?

However, I did not check it myself, is this correct?

  12. Hello guys !

I was reading about Thai residence certificate, and found this list of fees at the immigration website,

    http://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/base.php?page=fee

according to the above list, if someone married to a Thai lady and a father of 2 kids, he can apply for this kind of certificate after paying 95,700 THB? what is the benefit of this residency certificate for a foreigner? and what is the procedure to apply? and how long will be the process duration? etc,, any additional info will be appreciated.

    Regards

  13. Hello guys,

I need to know how to go to immigration office at the Govt complex / chang wattana road,

myself, I knew it very well, but always drive to there, I am asking for a friend who needs to go there,

let's say he will start from victory monument, or anywhere else in the down town to get bus, or van or at least the the beginning of that big soi, then take a motorbike taxi, which is not that far from there,

will appreciate if any information to be shared as soon as possible,

    Kind regards.
