With agent you give away minimum 1x12th of the income in fees to them per year. does it have security on the estate, do you have an alarm system, is it fully or partially furnished, looking at other properties of similar size and design on agents websites, what are they charging? do you want a higher amount but may take longer to rent or would you do a lower rent for a quick tenant? send me a pm, I will be looking for a place next month

Try Scott the harbour master at Ocean Marina! If you don't have your licence there is a course you can do over 2 days and an additional 5 day course you can do.

To be honest I have been thinking about this now for the past few months. I think it is great place for information, news, updates and advise, even if some posters comes out with either stating the 'bloody obvious' or a sarcastic comments, but to be honest, I think it is on the decline quality wise.
I dont believe it is the same anymore and has definitely changed for the worse, with quality of posts, number of posts, thai bashing, negativity, sarcasm, favouritism for some posters and the ability to ask a straight question without being penalised. I undertand things change, I understand ads pay for certain things but to be honest in my opinion it has morphed into something that I dont particularly like or enjoy anymore, I think maybe its time for a break after 10 years plus!
Yes, I know, dont let the door hit me in the arse on the way out!

did they advertise the event? I would have loved to taken the kids to it!

I think you will find the alternative Universe as you put it is Pattaya Beach not Jomtien Emster, I agree most of Jomtien is better than before.

Sorry to hear about it closing, I only drive past there so its not a reason to stop and wait for food to be prepared, as nice as it was. Always thought an air conditioned Country/Irish/British style pub would have worked in that area, I know there is the 'Courtyard' round the corner but unless its changed a lot, it does not remind me of that type of pub. The location should be good except for parking!

Why cant you have both, ample spacing for those who want to sit on the beach and sunbathe and those who want to sit in the shade, keep the beds and umbrellas to the back and issue then as and when required instead of filling the beach and then clearing it every week. This way you can keep people earning money, still get your food and drink but if you wish to relax then all good as well!

Thanks Jimmy, ordered one from Mr Machinary last Friday delivered Monday and now getting to grips with it, same as the ones you have shown, cost new 8500.
What about the Quality of the slicer?
PS: Have you ordered by mail or telephone, cash on delivery or prepaid?
thanks
ordered by email, transferred money by online banking, prepaid arrived ok. Quality 8 out of 10, settings 0-15mm has slicer for meat and slicer for bread. Could do with a faster blade spin for the meat, food handle a bit flimsy but other than that is ok, does what it says on the box

go up So Nermplabwan 250m to the road by the railway lines and on that corner just before the bridge is a family that do repairs, used them twice, very good!

I suppose if senior police have to pay money to their superiors to buy promotion and position, of 3-5million Baht, then that money has to be refunded somehow. Maybe by the trickle 'up' effect of monies collected in jet ski scams, road blocks, protection money, licenses, music license, bar takings etc etc will go towards alleviating that debt , poor things .
By stopping the jet ski scam(highly improbable), although it would be good for Pattaya but then would mean a shortfall for the MIB, who I am sure would look for another source of income from somewhere else other than tourists! maybe come after expats more!
The only way you may be able to stop it, is by the Army, clamping down on money for promotion, negating the reason for all the scams and money making activities in the first place........some has happened already, like the head of the CIB being removed but there are only so many inactive posts in the country surely....so can not see this happening for a very long time.
It is also true that corruption is endemic in all aspects of daily life and until that is stamped out we will still be complaining about something even if it is not the jet skis.......my 2 pence worth

Its the same at the service station on the motorway to Bangkok and in a lot of other Starbucks around, you pay, end of. I agree with Toenail they just say they will pass it on, if you go to the facebook page they don't reply, but maybe if everybody went on the site and complained about the charge they may react https://www.facebook.com/StarbucksThailand?fref=ts but then again TIT
