if all these people are testing before leaving their home countries surely they must be contracting the virus either during travel or in quarantine or there is something wrong with their tests, either way a lot of people who were supposed to be virus free are getting positive tests in Thailand - something just doesn't seem right about this

No you can test negative and still be incubating it for 14 days

I hear there's a ZERO calorie beer out there, anyone know the brand and or tried it, any good, could certainly enjoy losing some calories while drinking.

Just recalled there used to be one in Oz a few years back called Blonde.

San Mig 0 is zero sugar im told

Not sure how AIS can turn on mobile data if there's a TRUE or DTAC SIM in the phone.

I don't think there's any way mobile data can be enabled OTA (over the air) on any phone by any carrier. I know from frequent threads on TV about disappearing baht on smartphone accounts that a fair amount of foreigners don't believe in RTFM (read the frigging manual).

I don't know but I have cancelled mobile data that I did not request 4 times already and it is back on again 400B a month

No. The real number IS much higher. Think tip of the iceberg. Not only in Thailand of course. Nobody knows the factor involved. Double? Ten times? Nobody knows.

The only good news about this real recent outbreak is that hopefully Thais will cooperate much more with mitigation measures again. It's been widely reported that masking had gone down dramatically. Bizarrely, most Thais seem to think if you're masked you don't need to distance though.

They should probably close bars and indoor restaurants nationally and pump up the speed of their vaccine program.

So outdoor restaurants are ok but not outdoor bars

Couldn't agree more. We were up there a few days ago for a mini-break. (break from what some may justifiably ask ???? )

It really was gorgeous and we enjoyed the most beautiful sunset. We also went up river to visit Wat Pha Tak Suea and its skywalk. What stunning views one sees from up there. We spent the last night in a hotel right by the river, below the skywalk.

It was well worth the trip.

I love it up there as well been too long.
