  1. Ah, another dumb luk-krueng. Last year it was some phat one, previously - another luk-krueng, even further dumber. She has no clue on the subject - her speech is scripted. These days even deaf folks throw some cr*p toward Russia, so her imagemakers made this speech: must say something about world peace? Putin's perfect target! $600 electric bills in EU are also his faults. on the subject: when will real Thai lady win this sham fre*k show of mistresses?
  2. I know a dude who sell them on Ebay for years. Not a single problem. However those are not Buddha precisely - I mean that Prince who left his hood to wonder around and fell asleep under the bodhi tree. Most popular are small statues (about 20cm) of the idol with multiple faces, I guess his nom is Brahma-something. But paintings? Those from Chatuchak have no value at all, as well as common taste. Who would buy that kitsch?
  3. Herself, blue book "chanote" and a visit to local municipality to transfer ownership + fee (stamps). Very easy to do transfer, however quite difficult to find a good deal
  4. That shows that Dr. Deja posses deep knowledge on "overseas criminal psychology". Likely by watching multiple episodes of popular series about "uber smart US cops'n'lawyers". And yes, Biden's new America is really weird place now.
  5. Ah, been there ) I used my sweetheart's credit card (last life) to pay all those bills - very convenient - just attach card to PayPal and enjoy. However, once we had an argument about "farang's infidelity in Thailand" so next day she called to Bank and reported her card "stolen". So PayPal revoked money (about 40K THB) from about a dozen of entities incl. big one like Amazon, Skype, GoDaddy and locked my account. I had "fun" for about a week.
  6. Unless doing some domain-trading stuff when he needs to buy expired domains immediately, I simply paid hosting for whole year as well for domains. Unfortunately there're good hosting companies who accept either PayPal or credit cards through PayPal, although their WHMC panel has crypto option.
  7. PayPal was great to sell stuff from Chatuchak on Ebay say 15++ years ago PayPal was just fine as a payment processor for many e-commerce sites (shops) selling small items (about $7 to $199) wolrdwide PayPal was not so great with frequent charge backs, the way they handled PayPal was awful with their support outsourced from Bangladesh to Philippines I think PayPal times are over - they didn't come up with any new ideas, yet PayPal (Thailand) is just hilariously funny.
  8. Dr. Deja wants some govt. funds for "study". been there saw that. cheap trick. ????
  9. I like the "tourist police" idea. Yep, that's what they are for: taking care of tourists, even if they are not on tourist visa. However as any confrontation against local could get ugly I'd move. PS: for decades I lived in many places around BKK and I wonder: how did OP find a <deleted>hole like this? Is it somewhere in slums of Klong Toey / Yannawa area? Sounds disgusting!
  10. Obviously a fake news. PS: " to be delivered in a rendezvous" << who writes like that? A canadian?
  11. big deal! There are many foreigners living in LOS without any documents. Also, there are "concern citizens" from all around the world. I even knew one dutchman who was actually proud to be a snitch. Not newsworthy at all.
  12. Yes, that's true, but who impregnated her? A dove! To be precise: it was him watching while he was impregnating her to give birth to him. Quite hard to grasp, so this scene was called Holly something (I forgot), considered as Sacred Paradox and avoided from daily conversation with priest. figures ...
  13. Yet on the bright side: Thailand is going to have massive arrivals of tourists. Shops and bars should learn how to cook borzsh and pirogi. And learn basic phrases.
  14. Exactry! 70+ years old villager - what a great story: "The boatman's call" My guess is she will dump him within a year and either go complete banana at her mooban or join working sisters in tourist areas. But one thing you're absolutely right - her future is very bleak.
  15. Don't want to sound nasty but I think I can explain: the young and inexperienced one is almost like a blank sheet of paper - you can teach her whatever you fancy, program to be your ***-doll, convince her that your freakiest perverted fantasies are just normal, everybody do that and so and so on. You can't do it with 25+ and obviously that's the main reason. PS: Meanwhile older women got similar approach to young boys, but that disgusting as well, but often they pay well.
  16. Hm, I used to visit a factory over there [long ago] and that was a <deleted>hole, later went there few times, last time it was few years ago. IMO Onnut (from start till Sukhumvit) is pretty sh**ty area to live. Yet, few friends are living there and like it! Figures... Nonthaburi is nice and way more affordable than Bangkok Metro, cleaner and more quite. But I'd stick to Saphan Kuay area: Chatuchak and fun night district. Love it! Also, there're plenty of ways to get to Chonburi over weekend, go nuts and return to BKK saying "what happened in Pattaya stays in Pattaya". Very convenient.
  17. For those who somehow related to schools a.k.a. "teechas" - you meet thai kids daily personally and you got first hand experience with 'em. My point is: even 17 years thai girl still has a mind of a child, unable to sort things rationally. Sorry to say that but its just a dumb kid. And not just a kid, but rural dumb kid from remote village. What consent? Old fart lured her into "You show me yours I'll show you mine" game. Disgusting!
  18. Bangkok for some weird reason. I know its polluted, stinky, sometimes overcrowded, but.... I think it depends on the location: I can't imagine how folks live at Onnut, but I used to live at Pracha Sonkro (Sonklo?) near Huay Kwang market and assume that's similar <deleted>. Also used to live few years in a condo on 23 floor - night view is great but than they built megamall and life became horrible with honks and whistles. Finally ended with a house in moo baan - quite, peaceful, great neighbors, cleaner air, but than there came floods and power shortages. IMO Bangkok is not the right place to live unless you have to be there for business/work/job. Friend got whole townhouse at Kampenphet Soi 70-something for mere 4,xxx /month and it looks amazingly different, consider its just few kilometers from Wong Wieng Yay.
  19. Too much for peace-loving thais, but it doesn't seem unusual ever since. She thought about this unthinkable cruelty as a "lifehack" of easy money. And yet this story is sickening.
  20. Ah! farang teachers of [so-called] International Schools. or bilingual schools. Or International programs in Thai schools.
  21. The list of Embassies is more than funny: seems that BiBs planned European tour for New Year based on "cooperation" and of course paid by their office. Maybe they forgot that there is an organisation dealing exactly with international police cooperation called "Interpol"? Or they want [say] Ebmassy of Slovenia pass some lists to TRP quasi-officially? Is it even legal? Obviously they sent "cooperation request letter" to all embassies in the Kingdom, most simply ignored of politely refused such an offer. Behold the list of the dumbest: PS: where is Poland?
  22. I think the revenue from tourism is greatly overestimated. Guides, rent shops, beer bars and bar girls, travel agencies - they all pay almost no taxes. I used to work with few = one launder payments through her German personal account (don't ask how), others deal with cash and middle men. Hotels? Same scheme: hotel (resort, whatever) run by banana company registered at some rice field far North for few years, later switched to another service/managing company while money flow through their accounts. Even that W* resort with villas and private pools at Samui, not to mention A* hotel at Phayathai Rd. Bangkok that sorry building with proud name of Grand Ay**** at Ratchada. I wouldn't call "grey money" or even "black cash" legit revenue of the country.
  23. for more than 20+ years been asked only once: at border crossing with Malaysia some "Bazaar-something" by very tired IO lady at her tiny booth. She didn't even ask, just mentioned. And luckily I had that amount with me. However last (pre-COVID) years there were many stories (rumors) about ppl denied entrance due to lack of funds and insurance. The last thing I want is to engage with IO at the border.
