Would be nice if they could make an amulet that prevented these people from driving so recklessly in the first place.

So are they going to use a test on a persons body to determine if the sunscreen used was illegal, especially if it is left in the room prior to heading out for the day.....better yet have they raided all of the pharmacies, markets and 7-11's that sell sunscreen to ensure the banned products are not available.
Hell no!!!! They cannot go after any 7/11 or anything that effects sales revenue for CP. They are the puppet masters

I don't believe that for 1 second. I will bet that he is getting very special treatment no way he is eating prison food either.
He has way too much info and can implicate those above him, he will be taken care of very well. You can already see how they are lining up to help him.
This goes right to the top.

THIS can only happen in Thailand. Farcical and ridiculous!
Sadly enough this is not only a Thailand thing. This happens often in the US as well.

Just insane to have one location for vaccines and making it far away as well. Simply ridiculous.
They should have dozens if not hundreds of locations around Bkk alone, as well as throughout the country.

I fully agree that the current Govt. has totally mismanaged the vaccines roll out.
But having a Pheu Thai MP criticize is worse than the pot calling the kettle black.
It is clearly time for a change in leadership as long as it's not Pheu Thai, They have screwed this country for long enough as well and if they were in charge things would not be any better.
I have lived here for 19 years and have seen the damage the Pheu Thai has done.
The coup was necessary, but would be a waste of time if the old crooks just take over again.
I hope Thailand can finally make a change to some sort of reasonable leadership, but won't hold my breath.

if she is that stupid to sit right beside a big puddle of water on a street then she should be fined not the driver. Even if he was going very slow her feet would at least have still gotten wet.

If the govt. escalated the vaccine availability instead of seemingly doing everything they can to stop the importation of effective vaccines then maybe they wouldn't need to escalate measures such as these.
Stop wasting time and money with Sinovac!!!! Do your jobs and protect the people in the country already!!!

They are talking about an exchange as well? No country with vaccines wants the Thai <deleted> anyway so good luck with that plan.
-
they should have given him a drug test or psych evaluation at least.

so don't hold my breath just yet then?
As any salesman knows, you don't ring the bell until the deal is signed, payments are made, and delivery is received.
So much can go wrong on any deal especially in Thailand when the govt' seems to be working against the public interest.
I really wanted a mRna shot as a booster to my AZ but i decided not to pre-pay as i'm betting this will turn into a 9 month nightmare.

It is pretty obvious that the govt' has some reason to stop any effective vaccines from entering the Kingdom.
If they can get passed the regs. to bring in that Sinovac <deleted> then there is no reason they can't bring in effective proven vaccines as well.
Seems that there is just not enough pocket money involved in bringing in effective vaccines.

Another story to distract from the govt. failure to do their jobs and provide vaccines for the country. So pathetic.
Just get us vaccinated !!!!

So much annoying news every day about the Sandbox, infection rates, mixing vaccines etc. but not any news about how many vaccines are being delivered or when, and no stories about how many people are being vaccinated per day.
W want to here about where and when we can get vaccinated!!!
-
Effective vaccines such as mRna are the key to economic progress for Thailand!!!!!
Stop screwing around and vaccinate your country!!!

There are close to 10000 cases a day. The government wants to incarcerate all PCR positives. Do the math - the facility is already full and it hasn't even opened. It can't handle a half of a day's worth of "cases."
In Denmark (and most likely other Western nations) 83% of the cases (asymptomatic, mild, and manageable) are treated at home. Only 17% are treated in hospitals.1
Thailand's insistence in locking up "cases" in hospitals has already destroyed the health care system in many locations and will wipe it out nationwide if they don't implement a more conservative model.
With the currently over-burdened health care system, people with other severe non-covid health problems will be left to die as hospital care workers are repurposed to act as "guards" who watch the asymptomatic, mild, and manageable "cases" that don't actually need hospitalization.
Health care providers and workers need to provide health care. Not provide what is effectively a prison security detail to monitor Covid-positive patients who for all practical purposes are "inmates" to be watch, tracked, monitored, and constrained in "field hospitals" that are essentially panopticons.
The world has gone freaking nuts - Thailand's on the bleeding edge of that insanity.

SARS-CoV-2 elicits robust adaptive immune responses regardless of disease severity, Stine SF Nielsen, et.alWhich is exactly why there is no point in even getting tested unless you have trouble breathing and need to be in a hospital. So the 9k per day of new cases is easily many times higher than that and the really sick people an't get in to a hospital.
Hard to imagine this govt. doing a worse job than they have done with this.

My guess is that he was either the head of this super car smuggling ring or part of the team heading it up. It is clearly a scam they were running to keep the cash cow flowing. Have any of the top people from this super car theft ring been arrested? This should be part of the main focus as well.
How do you seize 600 super cars without totally breaking up the ring itself??
