    Corrupted officials and inspectors probably family or close friends. bus company owners 23 yrs in jail( each) inspectors that certified work 26yrs in jail. Bus company chief mechanic 20 yrs in jail, driver 15 yrs in jail: NO Pardons allowed at all. This is the only measure that will work and maybe just maybe stop reoccurrences of such heartbreaking heinous crime !!!!

    Poor or no maintenance on all the buses here in Thailand. Nicely painted and comfortable looking but mechanically poor conditions would be my guess. No safety introduction to young passengers , no one knows how to break the windows, no one knows where fire and extinguishers are if any, flammable materials inside…… so very sad…

    Terrible accident, no safety standards here and no maintenance. Must have had a small fuel leak and no fire retardant material interior.
