Everything in life is a matter of choice, it starts with the nipple, and it ends with a fir.
Nevertheless, thanks for the offer. And I was present Wednesday morning apparently there weren't enough vaccines to help everyone.
I don't feel like standing in line there every day.
Well go early then
I got to McCormick at 7.30am and was on my way home at 9.15am
Did not have to stand in line, can sit down for the whole experience
Don't make excuses
Get yourself jabbed asap.
Covid won't wait for you to get vaccinated before it strikes
It's not a forgiving or friendly virus

Any further news Firefly?
It must be very disconcerting for you but
there has to be a perfectly rational explanation.
You will surely find out soon.
Good luck buddy.

It makes me sad when I'm looking on social media where people "laughing" and having none compassion for people anymore who are refusing the vaccine and getting sick or dying. This seems to be part of the new normal I guess. We lost it on our way. I think nobody wants to end up in a hospital and I understand the fear to getting vaccinated plus there is too much information on the web where everyone can spread their own opinion.
Anyway one information that touched me was this video.
Thank you for posting.
If I was an anti-vaxer I would certainly have second thoughts after watching

I used Grace for 10 years or so but I left for a couple of reasons
Firstly I had a quote for Implants and after I checked around I found their prices to be at least 20% more, and when talking 220,000 baht ,that's a lot.
I changed to Dr Thonguard at Grandent Dental Practice where I had the same work done for 150,000 baht.
6 years later I am more than happy with the results and the 70,000 baht saving.
Secondly, I was not impressed that on more than one occasion I was made to wait upwards of an hour for my appointment.
It wasn't that the dentist was busy, she was not on the premises, and that wrankled with me considering their prices and not a word of apology.
That's bad service IMHO.
Good luck with your choice.

No. She registered online with Chulabhorn Royal Academy, and based on your location they tell you which hospital you need to attend. We're in Fang District but had to travel to CM to attend Lanna Hospital. We have Thai friends going tomorrow to get their 1st jabs. At Lanna Hospital you pay on the day, not in advance.
Companies have to pay in advance

250 service fee? The total is 1027 baht per jab which is quite expensive.
Who really cares about the cost if it saves your life?
It's not a frying pan!!

I'm also in the 75 group and didn't get a message from McCormick, either. Unfortunately, I only put my retirement extension on the expatvac registration, since the ctrl selection for photos was not mentioned by anyone until about 3 days after registration started. I have gotten no response since the initial acceptance.
Then a few days ago the American Consulate sent a message urging old Americans to register on Chiang Mai Wall (if not already done) and to send a message with registration details to [email protected] . I did this. Did anyone else try this?
Yes I did but have not heard anything yet.

My friend in Chiang Mai just got his notification.

I was told that the office will be closed until the end of September, any driving licenses that expire will be honored as legal till then ( this from a 17yr old sitting outside) I hope I don't have to test it?

Today a Japanese guy couldn't stop yelling at them because he can't fly to Japan with the Astra it seems, but yeah also under 60 and no med certificate so he got Astra in the end.
It's nowadays super empty. I had 1 person waiting before me, so not that many people anymore like we saw on day 1. Also enough Pfizer there so far in my cabin alone she had 40 Pfizer doses (which give 3-4 each or?)How long before your second dose, 3 weeks?
Thanks

according to the spokesman from the ministry of foreign affairs they are going to do pfizer in chiang mai for foreigners. Some 2k doses. Starting 18th august.
Possibly you don't need to travel that far.
And be easier to get local second dose.
Try to sort out this with medpark. I think they use same database
We keep hearing this about the Chiang Mai Pfyser dosage, and frankly it's hard to believe anything the powers to be say to be honest.
I will speak to MedPark as you suggest regarding the possibility of a second dose being administered locally.
Many thanks for your imput

Traveling to MedPark from Chiang Mai next week ,
I need to know if the government bring in more severe lockdown restrictions before I can get my second dose and I cannot return to Bangkok how effective one dose of Pfyser will be?
Many Thanks

Thanks to everyone for posting their experiences, please keep them coming for those of us with appointments next week.
We need to know we will still get our vaccines, for me driving from CM your reports are invaluable
-
For me its next Thursday.
I shall be traveling down by road from Chiang Mai, not really looking forward to it and don't really know what to expect, but I will phone and check before I travel that the vaccine is still available.

Had a mate in the UK whose whole family got it early on, March 2020.
Luckily they all recovered but he told me the symptoms were excruciating .
I had another mate , he and his wife both had it, unfortunately his wife never made it
-
What worries me is firstly is if I can get out of CM to drive to BK and then would I have to quarantine in BK ?
I know I would have to quarantine on the return leg
Secondly, who knows what restrictions will be in force when it comes to getting the second vaccination?
If things deteriorate I could be stuck in CM without a possibility of getting back to BK.
It's all very ???? worrying to be honest

I think you wiill find that all the appointments have been changed to any time between 8 and 5pm and can be any day between the 10th and the 20th, ( dates may be wrong emils have been sent by medpark
pfizer did not arrive in Thailand untill the 30th, so i doubt that it was given to non front line staff 8 or 10 days ago, before it arrived
I don't understand what you are saying Steve?
We have an appointment scheduled for 3.30pm, we even spoke to them to confirm this 2 days ago

I have an appointment for 15th August
at MedPark.
I had planned to travel down from Chiang Mai, but since booking I am not sure that my journey to Bangkok would even be allowed ?
Is anyone else from CM planning this journey?

Driver's License Procedures Chiang Mai - 2020
in Chiang Mai

Took my online "test" last week.
Right now it consisted if watching a 1 hour video and then answering 4 QUESTIONS relating to that video.
Amazingly I got a screen that said I had passed my test and to take a picture of that page.
This was not at all what I was expecting.
I had spent 2 hours researching info, (some of which I didn't know so no bad thing really).
So armed with a health certificate and a proof of address one too it was off to the transport office.
I only had to do the colour blindness test.
The reaction test was not in use.
I was in the office there for about 1 hour by the time I had paid, had my picture taken, license printed
Unbelievable.
This system is only in place till the end of the year I believe so even if you have a license that is due to expire NEXT year try to get it done now as it will never be easier than this.
