Masks are for cowards and the mentally ill. I was fine with masks for a couple of years, but anyone who wears one now is a complete coward. Simple as that.

Would appear by the amount of thumbs down you have got that people dont agree with you....so you are WRONG

Yes....I saw you sat in the corner nursing a small beer all night while we were experimenting eating insects.

Life is what you make it...if you don't wanna join in the fun that's your decision

  3. It's only fair that low paid workers should earn enough to live on.

At 400 a day that's only 2 grand a week....not enough with prices rising everywhere, yet that's all they are gonna get.

If we foreigners have to pay a bit more so that Somchai can put a roof over his head and feed himself I think we wouod all be happy to pay a bit more so that can happen

Liverpool supporters in Phang Nga, Kanchanaburi, and Loei gathered enthusiastically to celebrate their club's Premier League triumph.

On 25 May at 4 PM, fans in Phang Nga assembled at the Princess Mother’s Park for a lively celebration themed “When We Win the League… We Celebrate Big!”

Donning their iconic red Liverpool shirts, they organised a parade featuring a replica Premier League trophy on local songthaews (passenger vehicles).

The procession, led by motorcycles and tuk-tuks, included over 20 vehicles adorned with Liverpool flags, delighting onlookers as it wound through the city. Enthusiastic fans cheered along the route and took photos with the trophy at iconic spots like the Khao Tapu roundabout.

In Kanchanaburi, hundreds of Liverpool devotees formed a spirited parade, waving flags and cheering as they visited key landmarks, including an old paper mill, the Kanchanaburi Skywalk, and culminating at the famous Bridge over the River Kwai, where some even took to rafts to celebrate.

Despite cloudy weather and drizzle, over 100 loyal fans in Loei gathered at the Naga courtyard to revel in their team's success. The event was vibrant with community pride, exemplifying the passion of this small town’s ardent Liverpool following.

Same here. I had mine at Bangkok Hospital in Trad. The pre op medicine caused an earthquake in my lower abdomen, like a bomb went off. I just stood in the shower with the taps full on. So don't venture more than 6 ft from the bathroom once you've drunk it.

Afterwards, in the op room, out like a light, and wake up when all is done. No after effects. They film the whole procedure and give you a CD to ensure no hanky panky. Just don't let your mates get their hands on it! You'll never live it down after nightly showings at your local 🤣🤣😳😳r some bright spark uploads it to his OnlyFans account.

So how much did you pay there?

  7. I feel sorry for you OP,

If you still have family and a place to live back in Oz then go there and start a new life.

Thailand is not for you......many of us find it is, I've been here 21 years now, sold my biz, married a gal, very very content, but it's not for everyone.

I wish you all the luck in the world back home

you can drink and do drugs as long you have good genes and also have resources. Most people do not have that kind of resources and not able to go to rehab and clean up both body and mind.

It helps to have an passion and a strong mind as well will to live.

Keith Richards, it is a miracle he is still alive, if he is real, and not just an rockn roll actor. Anyway, he is an legend who is still walking and even playing at an age of 81.

His mate Ronnie Wood is not doing to bad either .....he drinks just as much as Keith I beleive? 😆

please don't kick me in the balls for this "suggestion" .    could be worth a try , only costs 650 baht for Braggs Apple Cider .   "Sooo thrilled with ACV therapy for uti. Years of struggle on antibiotics. Diluted (2) TBS in 4 oz water, am/afternoon/evening. After 1st drink, noticed pain free when voiding. Hallelujah! So I'm only into day 1 but will continue this several days then probably decrease amount to (1) teas ACV several times daily. Beyond grateful to find such a simple healthy anecdote for my uti saga!"

But to cut a long story short, he said he didn't know what was causing it however he could cut off my left testicle.

HI X , good to speak with you again.

Did you manage to hang onto your left testis X?

I lost  mine in August. I was on holiday and asleep one night when I suddenly woke thinking that one of the Koh Chang elephants had kicked me in the balls.

Pain was awful. Went to the hospital in the morning and they took one look at the swelling on my left side and sent me to the main Bangkok Hospital in Trat by ambulance.

They tried to bring the swelling down with anti biotics but could not do so...then they sent me back to Hua Hin where they tried more anti biotics but they still failed to bring the swelling or infection down so whoosh...out it came, it was huge....but no diagnosis at all, I still don't know it happened or if it related to previous issues

So now I am "one ball Paul" and it seems my privates are falling to bits bit by bit....still in diapers, still getting UTI "s

Agree sounds like outright theft. If the lady was still alive, and the nominee fraud was discovered, surely she wouldn't be stripped of *all* her assets - just the properties plus maybe a fine.

I hope there's a mistake in the report, and the lady still gets jewellery/cash not connected to the property.

Edit: I'm almost certain the article is a little off, other reports state company assets will be seized, which won't be everything. If that's not the case.. well people can look forward to tax audits finding irregularities, maybe some undeclared remittances, resulting in your entire estate going to the state 😂. I can't see it working like that.

She needs to get a good lawyer  but as she has no personal wealth, he or she wouod have to be willing to take on the case pro bono

Not really a Catch 22 , just standard banking KYC. There are multiple ways to approach this. Let me give you 3:

    • You can get a TIN ( agents start at 3000 THB for the service or you can try yourself) , and then provide it to your UK offshore Bank. That doesn't mean you need to pay any tax in Thailand, nor that you are liable for any tax.
    • You can give your UK offshore bank any 13 digit number as your TIN. They will not do any validation on it. I'm not recommending this, but I do believe it would be possible, and IMO would be no further questions asked.
    • Some foreign banks will also accept 'Am tax resident but do not yet have a Tax number'. Yours may not, but many do.

My offshore bank hounded me for my TIN number about 3 years ago. This goes a way to explaining why as I did not understand why it was so important to them at the time

Luckily I had a business here about 20 years ago , the clerk managed to find my file at City Hall, CM but it was in a cardboard box in  cellar. With many many other boxes...wonder how many others are down there

  14. My Grandson was in the sea at Sam Roi Et and when he came out he said he felt a nasty tingling sensation all over.

I looked into it and it seems that millions of stings fall off the jellyfish in peak season, so it's a double Whammy, if the jfish don't get ya their cast offs will

Can anyone confirm this,? I would like to be sure of my facts
