  1. Catat, dont worry.........we will pull you "out from your shell"/shyness. When we do meet, some of the girls and I, we are quite boisterous!! :D

Sego........dont get all big headed now ........ :D No revealing my height!!!

    lol :D

I promise, SK, I will not reveal your height.... :o

Catat, I look forward to meet you, when do you plan your arrival?

And as we were talking about shyness, there is in Thailand a wonderful drink called "kamikhaze" that takes off all the inhibitions you may have.... and it works pretty well ! :D

  2. In fact, how many os us are going? So far I know only:

    1) Shopgurl

    2) Sego

    3) SK1972

    4) Honeyen

    5) Lovely Cutie

    Hey Honeyen,

I am glad to see that you will join us. :o

I started to miss you and our drinks. So long time we haven't been pissed off together... let me count... wow, 6 days !! :D

  3. Catat, you can count me in........I am also a member of BNOW.......hence I do meet Sego once in a while.............she is FUN! Very pretty with nice eyes and blond hair..........a NON-arrogant person

    wow,

    Thank you, SK1977,

it will make my day happier! (and will probably become arrogant after so many compliments) :o

    cheers

    sego

hey Catat, I would add that SK is also a very nice personn with a lot of humour (ans so Tall for an asian woman!!!) :D

  4. Why are the English called "Soap Dodgers" anyway? :D

I though tthat was the French!  :D

"How do you hide something from a Frog? Put it under a bar of soap!". Apparently a joke some hundreds (I kid you not!) of years old.

    Arghhhh!!!! :D

Well, I am a proud French girl and have to say that I don't feel directed at such thing.

Hey, I have a shower every week! :o

    Cheers,

    Pepe Lepue -_-

Oh my God I love French girls! :(

    Are you a Pom, Mbkudu?

    :D

  5. I don't brew the 20 bath notes in hot water, Stroll,  but in wine !!  :o

As for the Americans, I chase them like Pepe Lepue chases the cat but they run far too fast for me !!  :D

I didn't want to say it, but doesn't this confirm that the soapdodgers have developed some peculiar eccentricities on their isle? :D

hey, I am flattered that you think I am a Pommie ! :D

Unfortunately, I am not that's why I was talking about wine, our national favourite drink! :D

  6. I'm sincerely and geniunely touched by all the posts! 2 pages, you're all making me blush!

Yes it tis a triumph that brings much joy and happiness, but it wouldn't have been possible without the interesting threads, posts and polls that all of the TV members had all contributed.

I would like to thank so many people! First and foremost, the diligent, hardworking and helpful moderators & administrators (is that enough ass attention?), all the great people/members that I've met (both cyber/personally), the smiley faces that work so hard to communicate our emotions, the Subway banners that have always made me hungry, the "Book your Thailand room here" banner that has always tempted me during working hours to quit my job and run free towards the beautiful beach and sunset....and much much much more.

Thank you...it's because of each and everyone of you that has made my 300 posts possible, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Here's to 300 posts and counting and to another glorious 300 more!

You should blush more often, it makes you even more pretty.... :o

    well, congratulations !

I look forward to read your 600th post

  7. and the money we would save by not buying soap, we will drink it!  :D

What? Do you brew the soap or the 20baht notes in hot water?'Special brew', eh?

    I wouldn't be surprised.

You've got to become more discriminating in which nationalities to get involved with, LC, you should know better than to favor soapdodgers by now! Scampy is alright though, he's been with enough Thailadies not to mistake a bar of soap for a giant candy.

Americans are safe to stick around with, the soapdodgers avoid them like cockroaches avoid pest control

I don't brew the 20 bath notes in hot water, Stroll, but in wine !! :o

As for the Americans, I chase them like Pepe Lepue chases the cat but they run far too fast for me !! :D

  8. Hey, I have a shower every week!  :o

I remember you're into Pommies too. You'll make a great couple with an Englishman. :D

Hehehe, sure, a lovely smelly couple.

and the money we would save by not buying soap, we will drink it! :D

by the way LC, you are one of the forum I would like to meet.

I have already met shopgurl and sk1977 and they're great people.

will you join at the lady nite out on wednesday at witch's tavern? (if you do, i promise i'll have a middle week shower :D )

  9. Why are the English called "Soap Dodgers" anyway? :D

  10. I wonder if other people agree with this but I find songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s, some 80s never ever overplayed, I love listening to them-brings back memories of the good times!

well, i have to say you don't look that old! :D

you are still quite fresh for a lady of that age..... :o

    see ya granny!

  12. Planning a ladies nite out, a little meet & greet for the TV ladies.

In the works but still open to other suggestions:

    Venue: Witch's Tavern

Date: Wednesday, October 20 or 27?

    Time: When the venue opens?

I am up for the lady nite out!!

witch's Tavern : perfect place for bingo (I am so fond of it :D )

wednesday, oct 20, definitely yes (can't show up the following week)

time : from the sunset 'till sunrise !! :o

Shopgirl, we will hit the old bald men together next time (at the men's nite). no competition between us. We will help each other :D

    cheers

  13. Maturity/common interests are the key to any large age difference.

    I quite agree with you.

This is probably why I prefer far more to go out with people much older than me (hehehe, SK, this one is for you :D ).

Also, the men I am attracted to are around 10 years older than me.

On the point, maybe it's not only a question of common interests but also because I fancy bald guys :o

  14. I started to meet people through internet since I am in thailand. Never done such thing before.

But as I was quite isolated here, it was a good way to meet people.

Most of the people I have met were nice. Some of them became friends. Mostly asian girls, but no thai. As I am also a girl, things were more simple when I met girls than guys. The guys are mostly interested of having a relationship than a friendship.

For dating, I am also old-fashioned and prefer to meet someone through the old way.

I have never dated someone I met via internet.

    cheers

  15. Hi Sego!!!!!! I am sure we can find a 4th person for Bridge, after all there are like 10 million people in BKK alone................ :D

Wouldnt mind a drink or two while concentrating on bridge............... :D

Finding a 4th one... hum... maybe you're right, it will not that hard to find regarding the population of bgkk.

But it must be a women, because if not, I must find hard to concentrate on my game, ughhhh..... :o

  16. Jimbim, no worries. I am sure the love of your life would find something to do....or she can teach me bridge!! :D

Let me know when she lands!!!! :D

    hey Jimbim,

I use to play bridge when I was (very) young. Would love to play again.

So Jimbim, when your lady comes over here, let me know as well.

But we will have to find a 4th player... Not that easy. So, if we cannot find it, instead of playing cards, we will play drinks :D

I am sure that SK agrees with me :o

    cheers

  17. Whatever way you feel without drinking, the drinking will make it worse.

    Yep ... that's for sure.

When I drink, I have to take anti-Viagra.

    :o:D:D

As for me, I loose all of my inhibitions...

I am usually quite shy but tend to become a little devil after a few drinks.

Especially now as I have reduced my alcool comsumption.

After 2 pints only, I am really self-confident and talkative

After 2 am, nobody is ugly!

    Santé/salut/cheers/scholl/kampai, etc... !!

  18. dont get a chance to meet many, i spend half my time here, and half in hong kong. two weeks at a time. Doesnt exactly make me a prime catch! ha. Always seems easier in HK, maybe i just dont know bkk well enough! or surkumvits the wrong place . lol

Sukhumivt is definitely the wrong place! Try Khao San Road. Lots and lots of single girls there and no 'blue hairs' either :D

    I would say "try the Irish pubs";

That's where I go when I miss the company of farangs males and seek for a nice and funny chat! :o

  19. PhiPhi less touristy??? Who told you about that nonsense? Imho, PhiPhi is crowded with tourists and the prices are far too high.

Ever thought about islands such as KoLanta and a simple day trip to PhiPhi (which will proove my opinion)???

Yes, I thought Phi-Phi was less touristy. :o

Glad to hear it's not before having booked anything.

    :D

Ko Lanta seems a good idea. But what about the weather (late october)?

is it possible to dive during this season?

    cheers

  20. Hi guys,

My family is coming the last week of october visiting me in LOS. I live in bgkk and never have had yet the opportunity to visit the South.

I am hesitating between Ko Phi-Phi and Ko Samui. I would like to know in which island the weather would be the best between these 2 islands during this period (late october and beginning of nov). Also, my parents have already stayed at Ko Phi-Phi and it's my father's dream to go to Ko Samui but I have been told that Phi-Phi is less touristic, more beautifull and still preserved comparing Samui.

What do you think about it?

    cheers,

    Sego
