Ahhhh that headline just takes me back to early 2020, nothing soothes more like a bit of nostalgia.

Add to that one of the suspects attempting to fly home probably earlier than their original schedule and them being uncooperative. I would be looking more toward the homicide option. I guess though the RTP has to keep their options open especially as doesn’t involve any Thais. DNA analysis of the hair she had clasped in her hand should point the in the right direction in who to question thoroughly.
If you are going to pushed over balcony to your death you will instinctively grab a hold of the nearest thing to prevent that from happening which in this case was someone right in front of you also indicating she may have gone over backwards rather than forwards…I’m just guessing here folk based on scant info. It may well have been an simple accident.

I can’t find any details on how the asymptomatic business class passenger was discovered to be Ill with supposed monkey pox. If he was asymptomatic how did he know or anyone else? Are they screening everyone (even in transit) with a monkey pox PCR test (we already know how unreliable those are even if you do not add in the “Thai handling” factor)? There is just far too little information to understand how this all occurred. With all this monkey business continuing I certainly won’t be risking a return to Thailand. If the Monkeypox doesn’t pan out for the WHO I wonder what contagion they have lined up to keep the hype and fear and scams going. Unfortunately their poster child Covid has transformed itself into a dud after Africa chewed it up and spat it back out! By the way, thank you Africa for that, you managed to do what a billion Chinese couldn’t.

The problem with covid is trillions went into it and health departments have burgeoned into behemoths. With covid clearly on the out they are all sitting there twiddling there thumbs. Any sniff of a disease is an excuse to keep their inflated budgets from drying out. It really doesn’t help that butt licking WHO gave Thailand the Alice in wonderland “Biohub” award which was simply done to keep them onboard with these scamdemics. That f@€£!&g organisation needs to be shut down ASAP. They should be given the designated of BIOHAZARD!????

No one can like this situation, obviously, but if the police have no actual evidence against him for the attack and the victim cannot testify against him in court, how far do you think a case could go if he pleads not guilty? It wouldn't even get past the prosecutor's office.
I disagree. He told police he did it. Any judge with their salt would not accept a not guilty plea with that evidence from the police themselves. Had he protested his innocence from the very beginning I would have agreed with you.

I hereby retract my original comment and praise of the RTP when they originally apprehended the suspect. Was it not reported here that he said he attacked her because he was frustrated??? The victim obviously cannot remember after being bashed unconscious! This story has so many holes it could be Swiss cheese!

It ain’t only Thailand…this just happened in Japan for a bundle more than 300K THB. This Japanese dude swiped a cool ¥46,000,000 (thats 12.3 million baht) that was mistakenly transferred into his account by a government official transferring covid relief funds. Japan, apparently known for its honesty and generally not nicking other people goods seems to have a ceiling.

Out of the mouth of a pencil neck. Go and say that to both their faces. 99% of the people at my gym are not what you would term “meat heads” they are run of the gym mill folk just keeping fit. Admittedly the gyms in Thailand in tourist resort towns have a far higher concentration of said description due to them wanting to train even whilst on holiday. They are not regulars and therefore have no insensitive to be civilised. Slap some steroid use into the mix and a bit of low blood sugar from training and that combination often termed “roid rage” usually results in an altercation especially if one party does not back off. Same for any street fight.

The next thing is dumbells will be banned in gym’s????

To be fair Thais generally expect this from their own government. They want to be considered first in their own countries especially in view of how many are treated outside of their country. Government is simply pandering to that in order to curry favour. It is good news though as it means they are taking the first baby steps in the right direction which means a total opening of Thailand for all is now on the cards as long as covid keeps playing nicely.

The WHO gave this billionaire credit for Thailand's success. The same guy who presided over the local Astra Zeneca fiasco, and publicly wanted the real heroes, the Clinicians, whipped like Soi dogs, when he panicked like a teen-age groupie caught in the crush back in the Deltacron days.
The WHO are a pack of self-serving political opportunists, who recognise an "old mate" when they see one!
A disgrace, all of them.

If the aircraft are fully automated and can fly themselves then yes, otherwise no!

Thailand is probably the one place where sexual assault is completely unnecessary. You can get a tug on just about any street corner. If the accusations against this guy are true then it was just about power over others…pretty much the last guy you want running things as he already felt he could get away with it due to his position.

Yes but did you expect Thailand to do anything else. I certainly didn’t. They are right on track.

2 years ago when so little was known and MSM was bombarding the public with fear, dread and a doomsday scenario one could forgive the strict entry requirements, but now it’s something else. Thailand will always attempt to put as much control on tourists as they can. If what they do does. Or stick they will keep relaxing it until it does. If too few come under the current conditions they will keep removing them until they do come. The removal of the test before you travel was done to trap tourists in their “Come to Thailand and stay in a hospital scam. The best thing people can do is NOT come, find a place to go to that does not have these stupid hurdles in place and come back when Thailand has found o modicum of common sense (don’t hold your breath).

The only thing I see with the removal of the pre flight test means the lambs arriving in Thailand will go more meekly to their pre arranged hospital covid-cation stay. Testing negative before your flight and suddenly testing positive 12 hours later was obviously being met with incredulity especially when it comes to Thailand! Anyone going to Thailand under these conditions unless they absolutely have to needs their mind read…twice! Risk your holiday on a flimsy PCR test done in Thailand which you can’t dispute once you are there? Your odds are not good. If nobody falls for it it they will change their tune quickly. I’ll add to this. I will not return to Thailand until all restrictions and requirements are back to what they were before January 2020. If not, I won’t ever be coming back!

Are you trying to tell me being "fully vaccinated" means you can still contract and spread covid? Did the "vaccine" that was made within 9 months for a 2019 virus prove to not be effective for 2021/2022 variants?
Yes and yes.

4 hours ago, webfact said:The FTI in particular has stated this weekend that they will continue to petition and urge the government to entirely drop the Thailand Pass and test and go process, replacing it with a simple vaccine verification.
Please explain why vaccine verification makes you miraculously fit to enter Thailand? Vaccination does not stop the spread of the virus as clearly seen throughout the world and within Thailand itself. It has already been stated that the current vaccines had no effect on Omicron or Deltacron as they are different to the original virus to those the vaccines were designed if MSM is to be believed. So I ask you with tears in my eyes why this particular condition for entry which is basically endorsing a vaccine passport is still being requested. If that is to going to be the case moving forward then surely covid certification for both Thais and foreigners needs to be applied for restaurants, shopping malls, night club venues etc. Are all Thais who are not vaccinated going to be thrown out of the country? Is there any intelligent people left in this country who can think constructively with out succumbing to mass media hyped hysteria. Just open the damn place to anyone and everyone. I pwomise nothing badsee wadsee will happen!
