Is the Shingrix vaccine available in Thailand?  (I have already had the Zostavax vaccine, but I understand the newer one is much more effective).

Isn't this report outdated since China has now prevented all travel out of Wuhan?

Went there last night for dinner with three friends and we all liked it very much.  I had pumpkin soup and beef stew with rigatoni.  Both were quite good and reasonably priced.  Good service, quite comfortable.  What's not to like?

Last night I ordered a bucket of fried chicken from Hooters via Food Panda.  Hooters claims this is one of their signature dishes and I wanted to try it.

When you order from Food Panda, they give you a play-by-play tracking screen with updates every minute and an estimate of the time your food will arrive.  My initial estimate was about 30 minutes and the tracker said, "The restaurant has received your order".  As the clock counted down to around 15 minutes, the tracker was updated to say, "The restaurant if preparing your order".  The clock continued to count down to about 11 minutes at which time I started to prepare for the meal.

Then, abruptly, then tracker completely changed and said, "Your order has been canceled".  This notice went up 32 minutes after I had placed my order.  I contacted customer service and they were very polite, but could provide no explanation as to why my order was canceled after 32 minutes.

Needless to say, I was quite angry.  My complaint to customer service yielded only an apology, but no explanation of where the service went wrong, so I am simply sharing with the group to vent my frustration...

It was a domestic transfer to BKKB NY.  They automatically forward it to my savings account in Pattaya (There are no actual individual accounts at Bangkok Bank in NY).  ACH is only for domestic transfers, not international.

Completed a transfer today from E-Trade in USA.  No problem.

I received my funds into Bangkok Bank via ACH this morning.

I initiated a transfer this morning from E-Trade in the US to Bangkok Bank.  I'll keep everyone posted.

Even though I enjoy reading the postings in this topic, I have always been uncomfortable with the title.  'Hit and Run' implies a very bad situation in the US.  It means the driver in an automobile accident did not stop to aid or inform possible victims.  I have never felt it is an appropriate title for brief restaurant reviews.

To educate you, I can mention that BKK Bank have 3 offrices here, Khrung Thai have 2 officies here, we have SCB bank, Khrungs Ri bank, Farmer bank and  Kasikorn bank, hopefully I have not forgotten any of them. I suggest that you read up on Chaiyaphum...

They spent a lot of money on new signage.  Too bad nobody told them how to spell "Restaurant".

I was there last night and I agree with Roger Lee.  The burger was quite good indeed.  I think they are off to a good start.

It's very good as well.  Best night to go is Monday when it's not so crowded as the theater is dark.

I will be in Bangkok next week and I would like to visit a few places that have a good selection of quad copters. It would be good if they were near the BTS or MRT.

Kraft regular mayo hasn't been available anywhere for several weeks now as well. This is not the first time they have had distribution problems. Hopefully it will be back before long.
