It's also notable that in all the confirmation hearings, it's only Democrat committee members who ask tough questions. Republicans just sally along like ducklings, grinning at knowing they're in the majority, and not caring a whit at contributing to the demise of the USA.
Not strictly true.
I thought Rubio gave Tillerson a very hard time considering.

You can't fault the business decision to take out Ranieri - like it or not, Premiership survival is more valuable than loyalty.
I always wince when a board gives unwavering support to a manager - but coming from Thais.................... Ranieri's days were numbered.
The fairy tale is over but it was good while it lasted.
I wonder if Arsenal still want Vardy and Mahrez ?
I wonder if Wenger will be there to want them?

I've never once been asked to show cash. Everyone has plastic these days.
Mind you I've never been asked to show plastic either.
Where does this concern come from?- 2

Good job it was only a glancing blow and the bottle just flew off into the sunset.

Avast only recently - and not for the first time - screwed up lots of PC's with a broken update (threads are here).
Avoid them.
Maybe this will help.

Nonsense - desperate moves by powerless placeholders in congress. Does anyone believe Jeff Sesions is a commie mole?
I'm glad you preceded that statement with an accurate description.
Because Russia hasn't been a communist state for years.
So maybe you should try again.
Does anyone believe Sessions or other Trump campaign staff colluded with the Russians over hacking the DNC?
Damned straight they do.Has the entire Trump team lied about this repeatedly?
Yes.

I still want to know how Trump managed to sell a decaying Florida mansion to a Russian billionaire with ties to a KGB/Russian-owned bank for a $60 million dollar (150%) profit - in the middle of a global financial crisis.
Nothing murky sounding about that eh? -

Not a lot of facts, if any in any previous link. I thought you had something different. The other releases were never specific. "It was the Russians", was all it amounted to. How it was the Russians is never addressed. You trust that? If the political parties were swapped, Dems
be passing on it, or pissing on it Same <deleted>, different day... .
Now you're just waffling.
Their initial statement was unequivocal:
QuoteThe U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) is confident that the Russian Government directed the recent compromises of e-mails from US persons and institutions, including from US political organizations. The recent disclosures of alleged hacked e-mails on sites like DCLeaks.com and WikiLeaks and by the Guccifer 2.0 online persona are consistent with the methods and motivations of Russian-directed efforts. These thefts and disclosures are intended to interfere with the US election process.

So... you don't have it handy. Convenient.
Same for you ... if you bothered reading the thread you will have seen that I already posted it.
Perhaps you should pay more attention. -

I think the topic is whether Sessions had conversations with the Russians while part of Trump's campaign. It now looks that way. What was discussed has not been divulged yet. Hard to say what was said as it seems to have been a person to person conversation.
But as was pointed out earlier, this is highly unusual, even for a person in his position.
I think trying to link this to the Russian hacking might be tough...at least right now!
It isn't a stretch to believe that the Trump campaign offered Russia sanctions relief in return for the hacking/releasing.
However, despite the rotating door of Trump staffers talking to the Russians, it is unproven.
Which is why an Independent Special Prosecutor needs to be appointed with subpoena powers. -

If you read my post you will notice that the response you posted is unrelated to my statement.
I did read your post and you said " The facts of this hacking event are likely to not be released for decade".
So, again, did you read the publicly released Intelligence report that revealed facts of this hacking event? -

The facts of this hacking event are likely to not be released for decades due to the sensitive nature of actions that may influence a Presidential election. Would like to see a link to a credible source of said facts since no USA based newspaper has documented any, regardless if the publications have been pro or anti Mr. Trump, or President Trump...
I'll give you the same answer.
Is an official intelligence report not credible enough for you?

no I'm not joking... let's ask some questions of ourselves? have you ever been to Russia? do you know any Russian's? have you studied Russian history maybe? speak any Russian? why are you so afraid of Russia?
No, let's NOT try and divert from the topic with irrelevances. The topic is effectively whether or not the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians to pervert the election. Sessions has already been caught lying about meeting them. Why try and cover it up?
If Russia hacking your election doesn't demonstrate that they are a real threat to your country, you have the worst case of confirmation bias that I've seen. With the ever growing list of Trump campaign members that queued up to talk to the Russians, a proper, independent investigation is mandatory.
Why did Jared Kuschner meet with the Russian ambassador and what was the subject of the conversation?
You don't think the answer to that question is important? -

what 'hostile nation'? you think Russia is a 'hostile nation'? why? back to the Cold War huh?
Now you must be joking.

Two flabby no-hopers who'll probably spend 12 rounds hanging onto each other.
I'll pass.(And it won't be on FilmOn because they don't have Sky Channels. Streams at the usual places if you don't have IPTV).

And there is surely a great irony that on the day Sessions was having one of the meetings he "forgot", Trump was giving an interview to Russia Today!

get 'away' with what???? details please
Did you not read the intelligence report that showed that Russia was hacking at will?
Or is it yet more selective memory?
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and give you a chance to read it:

well they will investigate it and in true US style FOUR different committee's will look at it and I don't like Session's but it's a WITCH HUNT by the Sour Grape Dems
How about they concentrate on Isis? the economy?
Yeah, how many Benghazi investigations were there again?
And now the Democrats are the bad guys?
Strewth you boys have short memories. -

no lie he didn't disclose it as he probably thought they were 'nothing' just a chat with the Ambassador and sometimes a 'banana is just a banana' and all of this makes the US look foolish
The US already looks foolish for letting Russia get away with it.
-
1 minute ago, LannaGuy said:
I don't believe he did - it was just a chat with the Ambassador not really considered a 'contact'. Dems are just bleating because they lost the election so they pick away at trivia
Of course he lied.
And there were are least two meetings they know about so far.He was given the opportunity to disclose this both in verbal and written questioning.
So, the question is: Why the lie?
-
Funny isn't it? All those Benghazi investigations where they desperately tried to find things that weren't there.
Now they're desperately trying not to find things that are.
