Thanks for that. Unfortunately  my Linux os already has the utils but still will not access the drive. But on Windows OS is no problem. Given the warning contained I am wondering if it is a "genuine" risk to change format or if it  just some propagandist thing in defense of  Windows/ Microsoft compatible with exFAT.

I just bought a Seagate 5TB forgot to format to NTFS & it wouldn't read some files, so formatted to NTFS no problem.

What gets me is whatever size you buy  you never get the full amount of storage

  4. I ordered 2 new mid range speakers for the pickup they sent me 4.

So 4 plastic lids 2 plant pots  2 large yogurt pots a bit of silicone sealant and screws some fly screen mesh not forgetting the wiring becomes 2 ceiling speakers for our little nighttime drinks room.

Yeah, pretty tat really boss, the sun will destroy it . No offence intended, I work in the pool industry and am frequently flummoxed by folk (particularly rich ones) that would spend substantial amounts on the pool but absolutely F all on maintenance and ancillaries that are as equally important. However, likely not one of them and fair play to you, you have a pool where many do not, but just sayin... do yourself a favour, make your woman proud and get yourself a proper F'ing hose hanger! lol

bought 3 in the last few years & they were destroyed by the sun so why pay when I can do it for sweet FA

Some people really love Win 7, apparently. So here it is, plain and simple:

"If you continue to use Windows 7 after support has ended, your PC will still work, but it will become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses," the company says. In other words, if you don't want to leave your computer open to ransomware and other threats, you better upgrade."

Now it's really, truly, time to give up Windows 7

Now why would I want to click onto an unknown link, that would be a risk and asking for trouble.

  8. PC is getting a bit old now, I have most things backed up on external HD, and do a windows 7 image  backup every now and again to another external HD.

So what backup software do you use,and recommend so if the PC crashed I could just move everything to a new PC  I tend like things not too complicated,

A friend stopped at the construction offices on Suk, just before the temple at Hua Yai lights.  Seems the flyover will be for the exit of the new tollway.  They've got a lot of offices there for workers!  It's a big project.

Went down the road to Wat Yansangvararam or the chinese Temple today, there were the same amount of cabins/offices as on SUK

FWIW if you get the correct size PVC pipe you can fit a black iron pipe perfectly inside this gives weight and dimensional strength to the PVC and is a neat job.

I had a spare length of thick aluminium profile so that got forced into the blue pipe
