Passport authority number / code

I'm filling in my visa form to send via post, though cannot remember where the passport authority number / code is on my passport.

Can anyone tell me where this is please?  

 

I have a bio metric passport, 2 years old if that's any help?

On the face page it will say issuing Authority to the right of issued date. !thats what your looking for mine says  IPS
