Ya Ba man runs into "Joke" restaurant and steals purse lying on the table Image: Daily News Daily News warned people to be careful of their possessions after a man ran into a "joke" (rice gruel) restaurant and stole a lady's purse. Factory worker Rudeeporn Sompong, 34, was out eating with friends Friday at the "Joke Siam" restaurant at the end of Ekachai Road Soi 55 in Bang Khun Thian, Bangkok. Thirty year old Suwicha Buankasemrot ran in and grabbed her red purse and fled to Soi 53. Calls to police were made and the area was cordoned off resulting in Suwicha's quick arrest and the recovery of the purse and 400 baht. The suspect said he had taken a Ya Ba tablet in the morning but later in the day needed another and had no money. His face was shown in the Thai media despite there being a ban on such activity. Why do they do this!!!!! In Australia the aborigines used to have a belief that they would point the bone and the culprit would end up dying as a result . Is there some sort of voo doo behind this action because we see it a lot . Well come on ..... if they didn't point out the thief they wouldn't know who did the crime as everyone in the room here is corrupt and are all guilty thieves of and from different events. Its a sort of clarity and defining thing......! Without the clear point they would charging and arresting each other , doesn't take rocket science to work that out.
