Australian Stat Dec Validity and Document Certification

Featured Replies

I have reason to go to Australian Embassy in the next couple of weeks and was wondering what the Validity of time is that Chonburi Immigration is for accepting a Stat Dec as proof of income. I did go down and ask but felt the front desk was guessing rather than offering comprehensive information.

Also my main reason for going is I have to get a number of documents certified (re house sale) like a 100 point ID check. Im thinking if I photocopy my DL and Passport onto 1 page I will only be charged for 1 certification. Can anyone confirm this or similar?

Cheers

Immigration will accept a statutory declaration that is up to 6 months old on the date of application.

They should certify it if both are on the same page as one certified copy. But the question might be would the recipients accept it.

Thanks Ubonjoe you must have the patience of a saint answering all our no doubt repeated questions.
Will enquire about the receivers expectations regarding the 2 on 1 option.
But you are confident about the 6 months? I had seen it elsewhere but wanted to confirm. As today I asked if 3 months was OK and yes was the answer. I then asked 4 and was delivered in the negative. But suspected it was more a why are you still talking farang answer.
Thanks again
