Not astonishing at all.I think you will find they have just tweaked it a little.(The Law) In the past,if somebody shagged my wife then I could have sued them.I think it was a little more difficult for women to sue men though. Actually , if you read the OP carefully , marriage is not necessary. Also , it might be a grammatical error but "fiancee" in the singular and "partners' in the plural is interesting. There is obviously a grey area surrounding multiple wives but I have never heard of any legal obstacle to having multiple fiancees.
