The best beer in Thailand by a country mile is the Thai version of a German beer Federbrau. It's 4.8% not overly strong but a clean crisp taste. It's 755 baht for a 12 box in Lotus's. Downside is very few bars in Pattaya sell it. I did enjoy a couple of pints of draft at the airport last April. -
