webfact
Christmas and New Year present - cheaper ferry from Pattaya to Hua Hin Picture: Daily News The fare for the ferry across the gulf of Thailand from Pattaya to Hua Hin is being reduced for Christmas and New Year. The Harbour Department in cooperation with the Royal Passenger Liner Co Ltd have arranged for the ticket price to be 1,000 baht reduced from the normal price of 1,250 baht. Daily News said that the cheap tickets for the two hour journey would be available from December 25th. Though there was some confusion in their story about the deal - in the headline they said that it was until January 1st but in the body of the story they said the offer lasted until the 5th of January. And they also did not clarify that the deal extended to the return trip. The Harbour Department is also offering four other activities to mark the New Year that include a trip to offer prayers on a boat along the Chao Phraya in Bangkok and merit making activities by planting trees and elephant grass and the release of fish.
