Military units ordered to employ more inmates in defense industry

 

BANGKOK, 28 December 2017 (NNT) – Deputy Prime Minister/Defense Minister Prawit Wongsuwan called upon military units to extend the employment of inmates in national defense industry. 

Defense Ministry Spokesman Lt Gen Kongcheep Tantravanich disclosed the outcome of the monthly Defense Council meeting where the defense minister gave the policy for the increased use of inmates in national defense industry. 

Military units under the Ministry of Defense or the armed forces were ordered to study the feasibility of employing more inmates in appropriate positions such as mechanics and welders. 

Meanwhile, the military and related agencies were also instructed to closely monitor the current situation pertaining to national security and assess possible threats to it.

have you forgone that they're inmate? how about working in the fields

and forests or industries that aren't sensitive? No? can't think that far?...
