I currently have now "AIA" (American International Assurance in Thailand) - cost me about 23k for one year (accident & sickness) - but most with some % subtraction I've seen in my contract (of course in Thai).

I live here in LOS with one year extensions.

And now, the half village I live, all want to change to Bangkok Life Assurance or insurance from Bangkok Bank - better profit they say... ("AIA" is from farangs and want only have profit from you - the answer I get!).

Has somebody experience with this assurance or insurance? I'm a bit confused. My wife would like to start to work as an agent for this Bangkok Life Assurance and mean she can easy earn some good money.

Assurance and Inssurance are the same I guess. I had never heard of Assurance until I came to Thailand. By the way eugene, what is the payout to your wife if you drop dead? I'm insterested in getting some life insurance as security for my family as well.

I'm till now not understand all (everything is writing in Thai), but my wife made a combinaton with 16k, so I would become 500k or more (we have to wait of the correct papers first) if she drop dead. She means it gives many options in this Bangkok Life Assurance.

This week she was the first time in an information school and want to learn more and after want to work as an agent.

My AIA would give her if I'm drop dead much much less. That's why some agents from AIA make also assurane by Bangkok Life Assurance they told her in the school.
