Thai women complain of harassment from online sex pest

Three Thai women went to police yesterday to lodge a complaint about sexual harassment.

The three - Sutthanuch Choichot, 30, Kantima Chaimontree, 25 and Thamonnathorn Phuthong, 25, all from Sri Racha - said they sell cosmetics and fashion accessories online.

They had put their pictures and phone numbers on Facebook.

A man called them up repeatedly making lewd suggestions.

Thai Rath said one of the suggestions was that he wanted to lick their sexual organs.

The calls often came late at night and the women became increasingly concerned he may stalk them too.

They said that many of their friends had had similar experiences of harassment over the phone.

From phone records police in Sri Racha said they had a good idea of the culprit and were preparing to pay him a visit yesterday.

If he is really involved they will charge him with causing others distress and being a public nuisance.

And what will be the punishment and compensation? I Sympathize with the girls, that sort of idiot should be seen as a potential rapist and processed accordingly.

To me this is very much unlike these frivolous accusation made against celebrities 30 years after the purported crime.

These women aren't so special. Apparently a lot of women get this type of call. My wife got a call a couple times so I jumped on the phone and teased this idiot a bit until he hung up and kept calling him back pushing the same discuting things he was saying back at him. He didn't want to pick up the dam phone though anymore. I guess it wasn't fun anymore. Pretty funny really. Pretty desperate when you have to resort to such behavior. People like this need a psych test and a one way ticket to a looney bin.

Whats her phone number? My friend here is asking.

Just don't put your phone number on the Internet. If you are selling products just have a form that can be filled out.

Why not just use that Facebook  Lick button.

Or a phone number for that particular business and turn it off at night.

Just goes to show there is always someone prepared to lick your sexual organ, even if you are not a pretty woman.

Point of the matter is: No, it is wrong, and yes, it is extremely naive to give out your private phone number as a young woman to the rest of the world. What were they thinking?

why did they keep answering his calls?

On Facebook Market Place there are loads of photos of scantly clad women modeling and selling a range of clothing from Underwear, Bikini's and more regular clothing.....

Yes it is wrong, but given the images posted it doesn't surprise me that some tool has approached the 'posters' of these images with such suggestions.

Don't these dumb arse girls know how to block phone calls...or are they just grandstanding....gimme a break...jeeeez...pathetic

I'd like to say, there's more victim blaming here than I thought there would be, but I'd be lying...

Buy a whistle and try it when he is calling next time. He will never call you again.
