Thaivisa-The Nation welcomes Thaiger Today to the Team

They say the one constant in life is change and Thaivisa-The Nation today announced a new partnership with Thaiger Today who will now produce the already very popular daily video news show, formerly fronted by the stellar Rod McNeil.

“Our daily video news has been very well received since we launched it back in 2015 and is broadcast not only our Thaivisa-The Nations platforms but on various social networks and television shows throughout Thailand.” said Thaivisa-The Nation Managing Director Dan Cheeseman.

“We cannot however rest on our laurels and need to move with the preferences of our consumers in order to stay relevant and compatible, therefore we felt a more relaxed format that could also easily be viewed from smartphones and tablets was the correct direction to move into. So we’re delighted to have partnered with Tim and his team at The Thaiger to provide our new daily video news”.

Tim Newton is well versed in reading the news having read more than 1,100 TV news bulletins in Phuket over the past 4 years as well as over 9,000 radio news bulletins. Tim is ready for the new challenge as he explains. "We're delighted to take Thaiger Today to the next level with Thai Visa and The Nation. There's a lot more interest in the expat community these days, beyond bars and beaches, and we're looking forward to getting all the big stories around Thailand to you by lunchtime Monday to Friday."
