Justfine
"The tragedy of Europe has socialism at its core. Europe has flirted with socialism since the late nineteenth century. Nineteenth century Bismarckian socialism produced two world wars. Leninist socialism slaughtered and enslaved hundreds of millions until it collapsed, mercifully without a third world war. Yet, not to be deterred, in the ashes of World War II, Europe’s socialists embarked on a new socialist dream. If socialism fails in one country, perhaps it will succeed if all of Europe joined a supra-national socialist organization. Oh, they don't call what has evolved from this dream “socialism,” but it is socialism nonetheless."

Socialism is anti freedom and behind the pro eu movement. Central control. They hate the concepts of freedom and independence. They call freedom and independence people "far right" which shows how brainwashed they are. It's sad that people would hate freedom in 2018. Yep and socialism of a kind that is akin to the Communism and the none democratic pursuit of power and wealth for the elite.

Yes, many were not sufficiently motivated to be bothered to vote against the status quo Also, after 2 years of information on the actualite I do believe that many that voted for Brexit are now not so inclined We also have a two year demographic shift Finally, migrants from the E6 are running for the exits I could go on And on (are you in Thailand?) simoh1490
An interesting article, no point to make other than the potential impact of foreign buyers on the UK housing market. Will this get better or worse under Brexit, dunno and can't guess, but it's a problem that needs to be tackled. My suspicion is that many Brits will be drawing a direct link between EU membership, immigration and UK house prices and getting it very wrong, of course, you'd need to read the article to understand that. It's a very serious problem that must be solved because it distorts the economy and upsets the younger folk and the poor and makes for a false market.https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/house-prices-increase-foreign-buyers-money-property-market-kings-college-london-a8274106.html 1
