By Tim Newton A 31 year old local chicken vendor, Nattareeya Boonchoo, has spoken about ‘insurance’ she bought for her son that cost her 5,500 Baht. After paying for 2 months, the insurance representative, 35 year old Falipth Wonghan, disappeared – no certificate, no receipt. There are also other 10 other alleged victims from the same case. “The man claimed that he’s the director of the insurance company offering insurance coverage valued at 100,000 Baht with a premium costing 19,696.04 per year. The day we signed the contract was January 1,” said Nattareeya. “I didn’t want to pay in one amount so I asked him if I could pay over 3 months; I have already paid the first month for 5,500 Baht.
