Photo: Kamala OrBorTor Rescue Team PHUKET: A king cobra measuring four metres in length and weighing around seven kilograms was captured at a house in Kamala yesterday afternoon (Mar 6) while a second which seen nearby took off before rescue worker had a chance to catch it. Rescue workers were notified by Kamala resident Anake Srisit, 40, that he had found a big king cobra in his house at Soi Namtok Bangwan at 2:30pm. Another second king cobra had also been found outside the house. Rescue workers arrived at the scene to find a king cobra inside the house. It took more than three hours to catch the king cobra with a snake snare and put it into a bag. The king cobra measured four metres long and weighed 7.2kg.
