PRD confident digital TV network to be set up by March 31

 

BANGKOK, 20th March 2018, (NNT) - The Government Public Relations Department (PRD) is confident that the digital television network will be installed before the existing National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) board will cease making policy decisions by this month. 

digital TV transmitters The PRD Deputy Director-General, Charoon Chaisorn, said his department has already installed digital TV transmittersat 168 stations nationwide, and most of them can begin broadcasting. 

Mr. Charoon expressed confidence that the installation will be completed by March 31st, 2018, as the existing board of the NBTC is due to be replaced soon. 

Today (March 19th), the PRD organized a training course on digital technology for radio and television technicians nationwide.
