Huay Tung Tao Fire Started by Hunters, Police Claim

CityNews – A fire that destroyed over 10 rai of forest land in Huay Tung Tao was believed to be caused by hunters setting a fire to scare wildlife into their traps.

 

In the afternoon of 21st March, a large fire was discovered at Huay Tung Tao Reservoir, Mae Rim. Authorities rushed to the fire and spent two hours extinguishing it. Over 10 rai of forest ground was burned to ashes.

More likely villagers, burning the forest,so when the rainy season

starts,it makes it easier to find mushrooms.

Oh well, since it is already burned, may as well let speculators build condos up the whole side of the mountain. Why leave any land undeveloped.

They are already building from the Judges houses to HTT.

There is a new wide road about half way between HTT ticket office and the first bend with loads of lorries moving soil.
