The Hugging-Face Exploit: Are you scared yet?

Featured Replies

Dear Folks,

What do you know about the Hugging-Face Exploit?

Do you know enough about it, do you think, to make you scared, so far?

Here is an interesting podcast from the New York Times, not that one should listen to podcasts from the NYT, normally.

Listen here, at this link: https://www.nytimes.com/2026/09/03/podcasts/the-daily/ai-openai-hugging-face-rogue-model.html

Still, this one is interesting.

And, after listening, what do you think?

Is it conceivable that AIs will soon be lurking, undetectable, throughout our IT infrastructure, guided by motivations and goals known only to them, talking and plotting in languages that humans cannot understand, nor detect?

When and where will they attack, next time, in coming months, or in 2027?

Something to think about….maybe.

Meanwhile, I plan to soon unhook my computers from the internet, just as a reasonable precaution.

Best regards,

Gamma

Important Note: Concerning the Hugging Face Flub.....

Interesting Note: We are now seeing, for the first time, Dastardly Rogue AIs engineered by OpenAI.

Please do not say I did not warn you about Sam.

Love his bright red neckerchief.

He's a cowboy....for sure.....!!!

Good idea.

And go hide under your bed.

AI will never find you there.

Things are getting weirder.

Please listen to the linked NYT podcast, and then get back to me.

Thank you.

Please note that I continue to warn you about the obvious:

No need to take my word for it, I guess.

I guess you don't know.....

Sam is, actually, ROSEMARY's Baby......

(Not joking, this time, Sir.)

You are just getting increasingly paranoid.

Based on the flurry of disjointed topics you continue to post, it seems you spend most of your days feeling scared about one thing or another. A pretty sad existence. Get a grip.

Gamma, I think you’ve identified the real threat here.

Not rogue AI.

It’s whatever is happening inside your head while you’re listening to these podcasts. 😂

I’d definitely unplug the computer. Maybe the Wi-Fi router too.

And if you have a printer, I’d keep a close eye on that bast**d. 😆

Whatever.....

The plan, here, is to unhook myself from the internet later today.

I just hope it's not too late.

I am convinced that Sam is no other than Rosemary's Baby.

(Alias, Adrian Woodhouse, or Roman Castavet.)

Sam Altman: His name is an anagram....!!!

Am M.L. Satan

Yet, there are those who worship him, the baser element amongst us.

A scanner darkly.

Whatever, do what you please. I don't give a toss, nor do I spend a single second of my day thinking about SA, whereas you seem to spend nearly every waking second either worrying about him or something similar.

Just be careful you don't pass out from fear or paranoia because nobody would even know you are in need of life support assistance.

Try doing something to improve your physical and mental health. Buy an inflatable sex doll and a tin of crisco. You'll thank me later.

Having to read your cr@p is bad enough without trying to listen to your so called souces!

I’ve already started a GoFundMe in your name, just in hopes you actually live up to your promise for the good of everyone concerned here on AN. All the millions of dollars raised will be donated to a worthy cause supporting others suffering from the same level of unmatched cognitive discombobulation you have so woefully mastered.
