NACC Could Summon Prawit Over Watch Scandal

BANGKOK — Deputy junta chairman Prawit Wongsuwan could appear before the national anti-graft body to explain how he acquired a set of luxury watches, an official said Monday.

 

The National Anti-Corruption Commission will decide Thursday whether to summon the junta’s No. 2, agency secretary Worawit Sukboon told reporters today. On the same day, the body will also review a preliminary inquiry result over the multi-million baht timepieces filed by the fact-finding committee, Worawit said.

What a farce. He said he borrowed them and that he has submitted the information already.

Surely calling in said lenders would help as they should be more than happy to come on in and confirm such an upstanding guy's story and stop this ghastly witch hunt in its tracks. 

 

Or maybe nobody knows how to deal with such a steaming pile of BS as its just too ridiculous to entertain.

totally and absolutely busted; either the guy goes (not my bet) Or the anti-graft agency reveals itself;

What with the Muslim immigrant crisis in Europe, the Brexit fiasco and Trump and Trudeau's troubles, I really don't think too many governments are at all interested in the silly political machinations happening here at the Siamese Circus.

A personal appearance after submitting loads of documents, they obviously could'nt read his writing.

Could definition is an indication of possibility. So only a possibility of summoning Prawit. Polite of NACC to request his appearance. So he could also turn down the polite request.  

Government putzes love talking even if it makes them look utterly spineless and indecisive.  Why bother making a statement at all ?  Thailand needs elections because its government is undisciplined.  Government workers feel that can say anything without being held accountable.  They just flap their gums. 

Could means the same as if equals no the same as forget it.

Forget it, there won't even be a request, these NACC people don't want to compromit their own life prospectives and that of their offsprings forever, even when pursuing an ideal(?!), the power of reality cannot be ignored...

Sadly the mentioned lenders have all deceased.....

Their time were up.....

He will come out of that story clean like a newborn baby. The power of money!

The cleaner he looks coming out of it, the more it will confirm people's suspicions that he is in fact a rather dodgy geezer...

Summon him? To award him a new watch? If they were interested in justice this would have been concluded months ago and the Toad would hop no more!
