geovalin
Phnom Penh Municipal Court yesterday sentenced three Nigerian nationals to eight years in prison, and one Cambodian to seven years, after they were arrested last year for selling drugs to an undercover police officer. Presiding Judge Top Chhunheng identified the three Nigerian men as Okereafo Chidi Martine, 27, Ezeobi Chukuebuka Sunshine, 30, and Immedki God Andrew, 34, noting that the three were in the country on tourist visas. The judge sentenced each man to eight years in prison and a fine of $4,000 to be deposited into the state coffer. The court also handed a seven-year sentence to one Cambodian who acted as an accomplice. The judge identified her as Lon Kimly, 31. Judge Chhunheng said that they were all convicted of drug trafficking. He said that the four were arrested in March last year at their rented apartment in Por Senchey district by the Interior Ministry’s anti-drug trafficking police. read more https://www.khmertimeskh.com/50487984/four-drug-dealers-jailed/ -- © Copyright Khmer Times 10/
