Eight on a bike - jungle dwelling ethic group show the Thais how it's done!

Sanook reported that a family from the jungle dwelling Mani or Sakai group were photographed at the downtown Satun fresh food market in Thailand's far south.

A man called Ni and his seven relatives were all piled onto a rickety old motorcycle without license plates.

Ni said they had traveled 70 kilometers like that to the market where they pick up supplies and sell some herbs they forage for in the jungle.

They always travel like that, said a nonchalant Ni.

Thais in the market thought it looked like a lovely warm family - but they were concerned about their safety.

Of course, they were! The limit for safety goes at the maximum of 5 people per motorbike. Everybody knows that!
