Every note of the soundtrack and of every song, whether instrumental or sung, is deliberately out of tune - even using out-of-tune brass bands on a few numbers.

It creeps up on you. Being a musician, it bugged me, and I found my annoyance increased as the movie progressed. It's a lightweight comedy starring Hugh Grant and Dennis Quaid - with a few chuckles, but that too-weird soundtrack doesn't work for me. Two thumbs down.
