Sadly the Uni massacre was encouraged from above and can not be discussed, THE main hurdle for many problems , the truth will come out they can not lie forever with the Internet wise kids (it is for those outside of Thailand) Brainwashing and propadanda is not so easy now with the Internet, even the North Koreans do not believe it , unfortunately most thais do

They know.

But much safer not to.

the backslide continues; they are locking thailand down

  • Luckily for the powers that be, Thai students are fairly passive, of course that wouldn't be a function of the indoctrination and lack of critical thinking in education, now would it?

I am very glad to see that the students have twigged on to the real function of the rule change; it was never about sex, it was always about the ability to protest.

I sincerely hope that the students really pile up on this one; the greatest single threat to continued and long-term military rule is the students, and they know it.

Give' em hell, students!

Be careful what you wish for, Student uprising caused a huge Military crackdown in 1973 and many died on the streets of Bangkok.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thammasat_University_massacre

Well they do know now Enoon if they read the overview of the wiki link above.

The kids deserve better.  The junta has done nothing for their future, now they want to take away any fun they might have .   It is amazing Thais would even vote for such wet blankets.

Nobody in power in the last 50 years has done anything for their future except rob and rape the country...Just look at the happy snaps from Dubai by those disgusting ex leader siblings.

Fact is Thailand"s population could care less about a few students. The rest of Thailand are enjoying a trouble free lifestyle and are simply not interested.  The masses are not protesting however a lot of farang are just to damn stupid to get it. Big bwana are total clueless and truly believe they know whats best for thailand  or are posting from some jungle somewhere where they are completely out of touch with reality

The reality is these young people are protesting, not a bunch of farangs.  What is wrong with these young people protesting?  What does their protests have to do with any foreigners in Thailand ?   The Thais I work with are serious about education.  If others are not, they need to be to keep up with Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.

from Siam to Thailand to Chinthai or Thaichin?
