Hello,

Surat Thani immigration don't wanna do visa extension based on work permit.

I have a work permit and teaching license. And my visa will expire on 10 september. When we went immigration with my agency they told us "We don't wanna do visa for Turkish people."

As my agency said they offer me; Multiple Entry Non-B visa from Vientiane. They told us "He have go Vientiane then apply Non-B Multiple Entry visa. But he don't need to apply teaching license or work permit again. After back Thailand every 3 months go any border stamp and come back to Thailand."

1)Is that possible? Teachers can get Non-B Multiple Entry from Vientiane?

2)Non-B Multiple Entry 1 year visa?

3)Does Vientiane issue Non-B Multiple Entry visa? If not where can I apply?

1. No it is not possible in Vientiane. They do not issue multiple entry visas of any category unless they are for a Laotian or a permanent resident of Laos.

I am not aware of any nearby location that will issue a multiple entry non-b visa based upon teaching.

2. It is a multiple entry visa that allows unlimited 90 day entries for a year from the date of issue.

So if I can get Multiple Entry Non-B visa then every 90 days I have to stamp at the border but visa is 1 year. Am I right?

And there's no choice then get Multiple Entry Non-B visa based upon teaching then?

Yes.  You get 90-days permitted-stay each time you enter the country.  You can leave and return just before the Visa expires (the "enter before" date), and still get 90-days from your date of entry, so you can get almost 15 months out of it.  Your are also permitted to get/renew a work-permit with it.

Penang was the best location in the region for these, but they recently made it more difficult than before - and I don't think they offered them for teachers even before the recent changes.  You might want to inquire if the Thai Consulate in Turkey can issue one in your case.

You have to leave and re-enter the country every 90 days for a new 90 day entry. The visa is valid for one year from the date of issue.,

You might be able to get a multiple entry non-b visa based upon teaching in Turkey. There is no nearby location that will do one.

I think you need to make a complaint to the immigration bureau about the immigration office refusing to issue a extension of stay because of your nationality.

If I back Turkey make visa there it will be quite expensive and waste time. May be I'll apply every 3 months single entry Non-B visa until my contract finish. When my contract finish then leave this province quickly haha I'm here for 3 years. 2 years stay with tourist visa(I only travel spent own money) never get red stamp or any problem(except 2-3 times questions from immigration why u stay here long time etc.) This is first time like this in here. Let's see on tuesday my agency talk to them.
