There have been mixed reactions among members of the public to Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha’s recent remarks that he was “interested in politics.”

An opinion poll conducted by Suan Dust Poll shows that 40.50%  of the respondents believe it’s Gen Prayut’s right to express his interest in politics.  But  20.42% of the 1,218 respondents would rather want the prime minister to focus on his government’s performance, especially in improving the economy.

A total of 18.84% of the respondents view Gen Prayut’s expressed interest in politics as indicative of his desire to cling to power.

So the 108.89% of people that responded to this survey had varying views. Fantastic. It actually doesn't matter what the questions are or how you do the maths all I know is something doesn't add up.

then we have a remarkably stupid polling public

He's interested in retaining the same old traditional control.

If you had an information sending so the public really understood with the real true facts good and bad, and then polled all of them after being educated, what would the poll results be then? His and the Junta Power grab % might be way higher.

64% of the people polled replied.....Who?

I really do not know who they poll - I do not any Thai that likes this guy or would vote for this guy

Meaningless poll. His power has been clipped and he soon will be yesterday garbage together with his band of eastern tiger brothers.

That percentage is either far too low or foreshadows bad things to come.  Room temperature IQ's reflected in this poll will be the country's undoing.

Due to a long rainy weekend, causing people to stay at home and sleep, the NIDA (nada) poll showing overwhelming support for the brass brothers, was not ready for publication at press time.

News Extra      Posters' response indicates serious lack of interest in Mr Apple. Let's hope the trend strengthens as election day creeps ever closer.

I often take a poll with myself... We always have a 100% response rate :cheesy:

There's a caveat to be had.

The Junta circles are factionalized into sub-political groups, as the higher military stations are taking allegiances to influential entities.

Perhaps, they're looking for a change. A new boy.

A wag-the-dog scenario/event might be in order regarding the so called upcoming elections - suspended until further notice.

Comes the counter coup.

Not like it's ever happened before. ????
