webfact Posted October 15, 2018 Share Posted October 15, 2018 Falcon 9 selected to compete in Water Rocket Design Challenge BANGKOK, 15th October 2018, (NNT) - ‘Falcon 9’, a group of students from Suankularbwittayalai Rangsit School, has earned its place as Thailand’s representative in the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF) Water Rocket competition at the Asia Pacific regional level this year. The team came out on top in the 17th water rocket competition, which was held recently by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Science Museum Thailand (NSM), together with True Corporation Public Company Limited and regional universities. Falcon 9 will be competing with contenders from more than 11 other nations at the Asia Pacific regional level. President of the NSM Assistant Professor Dr. Rawin Raviwongse said today that the national event played a vital role in enticing young minds into science and technology. He said the competition stimulates methodological thinking and instills systematic scientific learning among the participants through a challenging recreational activity. The Director said that in order for contenders to come out on top in the competition, they must follow scientific methods which include making observations, forming questions, forming hypotheses, conducting experiments, and analyzing the data & drawing a conclusion. connda Posted October 16, 2018 Share Posted October 16, 2018 Stateless kids seeking citizenship. Seems to be one of the few ways for a stateless child to obtain recognition as a human being.
