A husband allegedly stabbed his wife to death just four days after she left him to stay with her friend in Pathum Thani, police said.

Police are hunting for Songsit Osoth, 32, after the murder of Waraporn Ruamyu, 29, at a house in Moo 5 village in Tambon Khukot, Lam Lukka district on Tuesday evening.

The Lam Lukka police station was alerted of the death at 7pm.

Waraporn's friend, Lek Chaloeysanoh, 41, said Waraporn came to stay with her four days before the attack, after quarrelling with her husband.

Lek said Songsit came to meet Waraporn to ask her to return home with him. When she refused, he stabbed her once in the left side of her chest.

Waraporn was bundled into a pickup by her mother and rushed to a nearby clinic, but she succumbed to her injuries as they arrived.

Another sad "I can't take rejection" murder.

If you can't take it, don't get involved in the first place.

R.I.P to the lady.

Just another Thai man

There can't take rejection

Again and again we read about this

Be careful out there ladies

RIP young lady

Do people really think this is something Thai?  Yes, its in the news every few days here, there are hundreds of domestic murders every year, as there are in every country, I don't see anything unusual from the number of news reports.

In the UK, someone is murdered by the lover or spouse on average more then once per day and 78% of all women murdered are murdered by their partner or ex partner, this is just the reality of many men, not Thai men specifically.

Often dangerous to get into relation with Thai women as one never knows who else is around in the background....not always but why take the risk...remember, plainly rent, don't buy in LOS !! ????

You are reading about it because this is a forum about Thailand. Why are you unable to understand something so simple?

thailand and UK got similar populations and in thailand domestic violence between lovers or spouse kills about 400-500 each year, thats almost the same amount of murders in whole UK.
