The construction of a tunnel at the Ratchayothin Intersection is almost complete and will be opened ahead of time to reduce traffic congestion this month.

 

A PR officer for the Green LIne Morchit-Saphan Mai-Khukot electric train project said on Wednesday that the tunnel would open sooner than scheduled.

 

The construction of the tunnel on Ratchapisek Road aggravated traffic congestion in the area caused by several elevated train projects.

 

The tunnel was initially scheduled to be completed in February next year.
