Honda Click 150cc

Featured Replies

Hi, I was wondering if I could get some advice please.

I'm looking at buying a new either Honda Click 150cc or a Yamaha 155cc, can someone tell me any known faults for either and which is the better value, also what are the roadworthy certificate requirements in Thailand? does the machine need an annual roadworthy certificate?

What costs are mandatory applied to the purchase of a new motorcycle?

Thanks in advance for any help.

yes but only if its more than 5 years old...so for the first 5 years there is no need for a

"roadworthy certificate"

I think they both lack manual gears and clutch ????

you need to be specific as to which models you are thinking of buying

What costs are mandatory

Tax and insurance + a small first time registration fee + number plate fee + fee for going to the Department of Land transportation

(if you don't want to go yourself..I think you won't want to go yourself ???? )

+  if its financed they normally require "first class insurance" in addition to the mandatory insurance

Laughable compared to western countries.

Very basic (lights, breaks, noise...).

Don't have a headache about that.

Usually the shop offers to do the registration at the DLT (transport office).

Cost incl. book, plate, first year tax and insurance plus service fee about 3000 Baht.

I think you can't do much wrong with either model.

Decide on your taste, sit on it (how tall are you?).

Compare practical things like stow away of helmet under the seat possible?

Generally, how much space under the seat and in front for things to stow?

(usually very poor with auto scooters)

Do they have tubeless tires?

Ignition blocked on foot rest down? (like it or not?)

Digital display? (I hate it) Readable in daylight?

Fuel meter readable when ignition off?

LED lights?

(I am putting ? because I don't know about these new models)

Thanks heaps for your input, i've just come back from the bike shop and looking at both models side by side, sitting on them comparing features price, ect, I'm pretty sure i'm going to go with the click, the standard version of the Yamaha is a little more expensive and has quite a few less features.

Regards
