I was wondering what does Buddhim say about the creation of the Universe?

Most religions have some sort of creation story. I have never heard anything about how everything came to be from Buddhist perspective.

Does anyone know?

I believe that the Buddha taught that pondering the creation was something that did not help in achieving the goal which is the end of suffering so he did not teach about it because he taught that he only taught the end of suffering and nothing else.

yup, chownah is correct ... however i did previously read a sutta that seems to talk about the beginning of a world cycle. it's called the Agganna Sutta (Knowledge of the Beginning)
