KANCHANABURI — Construction tycoon Premchai Karnasuta is expected in court Wednesday after the prosecution hears its final witness today in a trial over his and other defendants’ roles in the slaying of a black panther.

 

As the primary defendant at the center of the case, the president of Italian-Thai Development must appear in the Thong Pha Phum Provincial Court alongside his co-defendants when the defense begins calling witnesses and making its case. He hasn’t appeared in court since the first day of the trial.

Is it only me or do other readers also find this sad excuse for a human being physically extremely repulsive? A walking example of what havoc an utter lack of nutritional self constraint can wreak on the human body.

Does anyone seriously believe this decrepit figure of a man with his suction cup walking stick is capable of stalking a panther through the jungle and with great accuracy shoots it dead. He was there to keep the beer cold and keep the fire burning. Accessory after the fact at best!

Anyway it was never proven by DNA that there was panther penis in his dump near his vehicle. And amazingly the tape of his alleged bribe claim was "lost".

Remember he is the Chairman of the the Thai-Italian Corporation which is part of the conglomerate which will win the inter-airport HS rail contract. The writing is on the wall for a token punishment.
