stuartd1 Posted February 20, 2019 Share Posted February 20, 2019 Curious to know what the bird is that makes that whooping call, I assume it's a mating call, from early morning through the day this time of year. stuartd1 Posted February 21, 2019 Author Share Posted February 21, 2019 Yes Adammike, the Orioles we used to see near our apartment in Singapore had a very similar call but I have yet to spot one here. cmsally Posted February 21, 2019 Share Posted February 21, 2019 This time of the year it is normally the Black Drongo. Just do a google for a youtube video to see if it matches. Large red/brown birds that spend most of their time foraging on the ground, hidden in undergrowth.
