Travel Advisory - Uk Fco

Featured Replies

Periodically I like to check the travel advisories at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) website and was surpised to read in bold type that so far this year eight British people have been killed in Thailand. That strikes me a s being a very high number and I wonder what the total number of foreign deaths is in Thailand annually and the causes. Anyone have any data on this? Oh, and before anyone asks, the FCO is the UK equivalent of the State Department for travel purposes.

Killed or murdered?I mean you know the roads in Thailand,if they include, and you anticipate the number of English travelling in and out of Thailand, not that big ,or am I wrong??

Anyway,bad no matter what!

Cheers

Would death by booze and dodgey Viagra count as well?

As far as I'm aware, according to the British Embassy on average 12 Brits die every month in Thailand for whatever reason.

Hey tud

Maybe they were "empowering" themselves.

deaths aren't necessarily murder. The amount of expats and those that travel here - I'd assume far more.
