You might not be able to make it up, but they sure can pile it up!

and once again no police are there to issue tickets for overloading, running red lights etc, obviously the driver has paid someone to be allowed to do this

Sorry, have to disagree. No brown envelope needed for this. Just total lack of interest by the BIB.

Yes those dam low down electric and phone/internet cable are always in my way too.

Definitely youtube material.

Well packed that  man!

Lack of interest in... "brown envelopes"?

What about the bloke pushing the wires out of the way and riding on top of the entire load, ?????????

Healthy disrespect for his own well being.

He didnt run a red light, he was going very slow, more like walking a redlight. And how would you expect him to deliver his cargo, if he didnt lift up the wires?

Not running. Creeping.

Trouble is, it's not unbelievable, you see stuff like this every day

Corruption at its best. How else could this happen?

The funniest one I've ever seen was a couple of years ago near Phan. A pickup on its side, presumably overloaded with pigs, because they were spreading out to all points of the compass while the locals were trying to round them up.

Sky is the limit.

Full compliance with the law! He's got a red flag on the back to show he's overloaded. No problem.

Shocking !

I thought you only read about this happening in books.

This is the exact reason Thai Visa Form should start a '10 pounds into a five pound bag' category with readers submitting photos like the above.

Not really overloaded in a weight sense. Just too high. He will only be doing local driving as he wouldn't be allowed on the expressway or the Chonburi motorway (too high).

Not a big deal as he can't do much damage. few hundred baht here, few hundred there.
