Government Dental hospitals cheaper than dentist offices???

Wondering if the government dental hospitals like the dental hospital at Suandok hospital or the one at Nakhron Ping hospital are cheaper than regular dentist offices?

 

Anyone know?

Anyone ever been to Nakhron Ping or Suandok dental hospitals?

Government dental hospitals are cheaper than private dentists because these are done by students.

 

If you are lucky to get  a good student, then you can save some money. If not..... you're going to get problems.

 

But not all private dentists are good, I went to the one at Ruamchok mall, and the doctor was very rough and did a bad job. The prices were expensive too.

 

If it is just cleaning plaque, then no problem, but filling needs more expertise.

I can't say specifically for those hospitals, but in many government hospitals there are after hours clinics where you can be directly treated by the senior docs, including dentist. And still cheaper than private dentists.
