90-Day report same Province Necesary?

Featured Replies

I live on a small Island in the Phang nga Province.

I go to Phang nga immigration to obtain my Retirement visa extension and re-entry permit annually.

Phuket and Krabi immagration offices are closer and much easier to get to.

Does any one know if you have to report to the same Provincial immigration office where you obtained your visa?

It would be a lot more convenient to visit Phuket or Krabi.

Thanks

Geoff

What's wrong with doing it online?

You're required to report to the IO that is for your area.

You have to do it at the office that issued your extension.

To do it at another office you would have to formally change your address to that office.

You have the option to do it online. Link: https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do

Or you can to it by mail to your local office.

Thanks for the answers to my question.  As for the  questions asked to me:.....I Have tried online many times but never could get it to work......Have tried by mail too and that was a nightmare, maybe cuz i used a registered SASE which meant they would have to visit the Post office to mail it.  Pretty sure they just threw it in the trash after telling me "will send tomorrow" 5 times.  Finally, I just made the journey and did it in person......Maybe i will try mailing a non registered SASE and see.
