Is the information on this YouTube video correct??

This man seems to have some points that differ from the information given here. He claims

that even though you have 65 thousand baht a month coming into a Thai bank account, that you STILL 

need to have 400 thousand baht in the bank before you apply. Could one of the "experts" clear this up?

So many out there. Credible or not?

Recently saw a video of a German guy in Thailand proudly presenting his international driving license valid for 20 years. And now he feels safe to drive here :cheesy:

The main point is, it is starting to hit the web. And not portrait a good image of retirement in Thailand.

For westerners , Thailand will essentially be off the map for long term retirement. 

Whether the person has the funds or not it will decrease the retirement visas for new comers 75-80% IMO. Personally I think these kind of video's need to be in front of the public. Hopefully it will deter new arrivals.
